My props (bookshelves etc) fall apart. Is this intentional? Are these meant to be glued together? |

It's up to you. If you need to keep them separate to fold up for easy storage, then obviously no but if you can live with having them as solid props than by all means glue them together. |

Hi Matt, When i say fall apart i mean they won't stand on their own. They fall apart. They are going to need glued to be usable. I'm only talking about "Frame 2 of 16" thus far, i have punched and sorted the whole box (Essentials) but i have only started assembling 2 of 16. |

I'm still waiting for my Dungeon Rise sets to arrive, but I had similar issues with stairs, and just glued them all. |

The gaps on many of the items in this set seem to be bigger, easier to get them together, but they don't stay together as well. |

Whats a good glue to use with terraclips props anyway. I don't really mind gluing the props, I just don't want to destroy them because i used the wrong glue |

Hey Guys, My best advice is to glue the props (especially the smaller ones) together. I even think it says so on the instructions. Some of the props work perfectly when just slotted together (eg. the fireplace), but some of them need to be glued to get them perfectly solid (eg. the beds and chairs). This all has to do with the die cuts that we made for dungeonrise. I can tell you that the dies we made are really on the edge of what is even possible with paper. The tollerances are really really close. We are talking about 1,5 mm here. The difference between too loose or too tight is about 0,2 or 0,3 mm. So when everybody was asking for props, we had 2 options: either make them and tell people that they would have to glue some of them together, or not make them at all. We decided for the first option, because most of the props are small enough that they don’t take too much place on a shelf anyway. The best way to glue them together is with simple pva glue. Just put a small drop on the parts that will be touching each-other before you slide the prop together. Don’t use too much glue, because that might cause the cardboard to wrinkle. Because of the tight tollerances, a small drop of glue will ususally be enough to make it all stick. |

That's interesting. Even though I use miniatures with the terrain, I'd never actually put together the comparison, but in many ways, its very apt. I think the only difference is the initial expectation, and that can be fixed. I've purchased, mmmm, maybe 15 or so different TCP sets, and definitely had my fair share of fit issues with walls, props, etc, but it hasn't really irritated me. Part of this is knowing how fiddly the manufacturing process is, and part is probably my experience with paper modeling, where I often mod/fix things that are slightly off. |

So I am ok with realizing the limits of what we are getting here. I think it is well worth the money. And, while some items need to be glued together, I still want you to make props....do I want as many pillars as we got, at the expense of other stuff....that is a different answer. I now have enough pillars and beds and tables for a very long time. |
