How do you put together the double sided walls from the Ruins set? I assume these are the ones with the large walls, the outer section...but how do you put the stairs on? Admittedly, I've punched out everything, and may be looking at pieces that don't fit together.... Also, how do you put together the spike trap from the picture? Thanks, I'm sure I'll have another question or two... |

Took me a little bit on the spike traps. Each trap has 3 pieces (2 traps per set) - one each of the single long low slow, single middle slot, and double slots. The basic idea is that its a half circle fan. The double slot on single middle slot slide together, and form the outer edges of the fan. The low slot is the middle, upright piece, and slides in along where the 2nd (unused) slot is on the double slot piece. I'm not clear what you mean by the double sided walls. Do you mean the tall stairs? |

Yes, the double wall stairs. I assume that the stairs are the pieces that are thicker on one half, and stick through the tall wall? If so, not a fan of the design with the stair sticking out the other side. I can see myself cutting the stairs, and gluing them on, so I can do whatever I want on the other side of the tall wall. Thanks, I'll try the spike trap later. |

Ah, yeah. I'm not a huge fan of that design either. I think you have it right. I built one out, and the narrow end of each stair step slides into the large wall. I'm unclear why they stick out so far, other than for stability. I'd guess its maybe to let you make it wider, but that's just a guess. I pondered a similar solution, just trimming down the end, although I wasn't going to glue it, so that I could reverse directions easily. |

You're building the stair wall correctly. The idea here is that one side represents a pristine staircase, while the other represents a staircase in ruin (and a dangerous one at that). You flip it to the side that fits your adventure. I actually took inspiration from the upcoming Hobbit movies for that one. |

Thanks for the reply, Denny. The spike trap was easy once I started...I'll have to look at the double stair again. |
