Well, after a couple of months of having them on my shelf, I finally got around to unboxing 2 boxes of Dungeonrise : Essentials. A couple of quick thoughts include :-
1) Glueing the props together is pretty much essential - no biggie though
2) The pieces pop out a lot easier than my Streets/Building/Sewers sets. No crises whatsoever this time.
3) Lots of good useful stuff. This is a great set.
4) Only things missing that I can see that would make it even more magnificently useful than it currently is are 10' and 5' wide corridors and double doors. Oh, the ability to have corridors joining rooms in the centre of a wall would be nice as well. All ideas for a future expansion set eh ?
In fact, I was so excited by the whole unboxing process that I then went on to build a dungeon. It only took a couple of hours.
Anyway, enough with the dribble, here are some pix to enjoy. Only Dungeonrise : Essentials (2 boxes) were used in the creation of this model (and I had LOADS of bits left over)
OK, lets hope it's not a couple more months before I get round to the next 2 sets
