Hi, dont have any games or TCP, I recently discovered board games in a friend's house playing zombicide and descent 2 Since that I discovered that board games rules!!, and i decided to investigate how to make a reallly cool one  I decided to use 3d scenery because that makes me get so involved and after surfing a bit internet it appears that DungeonRise is perfect for that. Now the question is.. which are the best games for DungeonRise? Thanks in advance and excuse my poor english

Dungeons & dragons would be the obvious choice, but the dungeons & dragons board game would probably work as well if you change the rules a bit. Even zombicide could work if you use tiles and rooms for areas. Game balance might be a problem though. I have little experience with roleplaying games such as vampire but they would probably work nicely. Also, the new mistborn roleplaying game might work nice with the malifaux city stuff. |

Heroquest? Advanced Heroquest? Don't know if those games exist anymore. |

Thanks for the responses, I was thinking about "Dungeons & Dragons Wrath of Ashardalon" and pablo confirmed that is a good option (Gracias Pablo  ), the D&D tiles are 1", the same than terraclips, and having doors I think I dont have to change rules of the game. The problem is that I read that you need minimun 8-10 rooms to play a normal D&D game and it appears that you can make max 5 rooms with one "DungeonRise Dungeon Essentials" (the one that seems to be better for building different rooms), and buying two DungeonRise can give me a problem with my wife I'm investigating "Song of Blades and Heroes" too (thanks Obsidian  ), sounds promising, all people that bought it says that is a great deal, but maybe those dungeons are a bit small for this game, have to look it better because this game maybe could work well with only one DungeonRise.I will continue investigating, thanks for the opinions

I just ordered Descent 2nd edition yesterday. I am going to try it out with my Dungeon Rise sets and see how it plays. I expect awesome things. Ill take some pics and post them here. |
