Sorry if this has been answered many times before, but are these the same as the Sewers set and Thoumont's? Just making sure I'm not missing a new design.

The three set of Clips are not the same as the Toumonts/Himmelveil stuff, but the are very closely related.

It appears that the two sets sprung from the same general template. However, the color schemes are different. Himmelveil does not have the intrinsic 1" grid in the artwork, and is of a slightly lower artistic quality.

Since this is a physical release, they have said that they went above and beyond their normal high standards for this one.

Short answer: Yes and no.

Just to clarify what Robert said; Streets of Malifaux and Buildings of Malifaux are 100% new textures, strongly influenced by Himmelveil. Sewers of Malifaux has some elements from the original Himmelveil Sewers but it too underwent a pretty massive overhaul.

We were originally going to use Himmelveil stock but as we went through the process realized that we could do a whole lot more in terms of cramming in the detail (and improving on certain ideas). It was also a case where we wanted a lot of options for the end user in terms of different looks.

We pushed a slightly obsessive level of detail into these. Can't wait until people get them home to really scrutinize

I believe there are a bunch of people who are anxious to scrutinize this release.

Oh well. On the upside it means I can put some money aside so that I can buy multiple sets when they come out. I'm thinking two of each, sewers and city... you know... as a start

I really appreciate you sharing a road map like this. It truly does put you up into a higher caliber. Even if you get off track we at least know where you are going, what the general plan is, and don't need to pester you with thread after thread asking "what's going on?" and "when will it be released?!".

I am going to Gencon next week and I have a VIG card to get in early

I want to buy Terraclips and I would prefer to buy it from you; however, an article I have read on the Net suggests that only Wyrd will have Terraclips at the show and that you won't be selling it there.

I want to be buying Terraclips at 9:35 a.m. on Thursday Aug 4. Will you have it for sale at this time or to I have to go to Wryd's booth to buy it at Gencon 2011? (Are you even going to Gencon?) Please advise.

WorldWorksGames will not be attending GenCon directly this year but we will be represented by our friends at Wyrd. I strongly encourage you to buy direct from them as they are our partners in the TerraClips product line.

There will be limited stock on hand at GenCon so when you sneak your way in through those golden arches ahead of the crowd, make a v-line to booth 1831. You may have to run!...lol.

And have fun! I'll really miss being there this year and we all hope to make a return for next years convention.
