You can build something of comparable size with about a box and a half of material. I had to dip into a second box to make some aspects of the layout work (some repeats in there) but there was a heck of a lot of material still left over in the first box. You also have to consider that because you can build upwards (rather than a single flat plain), your square footage will fluctuate depending on how high you go.

I would supose that you had thrown there a few boxes to make it look gorgeus...but if you can build that with one and a half...then I will for sure go for one of each (I was inclined to left sewers and go for more of streets of the buildings but as said...one of each and with time it will grow)

I'm very happy seeing that. It appears that the gloss/warping issue from last years con debut has been resolved in a spectacular fashion.

Yup, the factory finally got the right card and finish happening for us and the results are great. There's this terrific moment when you crack open a fresh box and see the finish on the punchboards. Kind of an "ooo, that's quality!" thing washes over you I'll try to put up an unboxing video here amongst other goodies in coming days/weeks.

Is there any chance there will be a 1.5" version available one day (I guess it depends on the sales)?

That's amazing! Wish I had a larger gaming budget....

My guess is likely no, or at least not for a long time as this is currently at least partly through Wyrd and the Malifaux line.

I was going to say as they don't have anything 1.5 inch based it isn't likely, at all but they also don't have anything 1inch based (iirc they don't have a grid system). They may just be having a 1 inch aspect to cross market to D&D players.

Yup, I think there just isn't a big enough market for a 1.5 grid, and the 1 is mostly to draw in the RPGers.

Looking at those pictures I thought there must be 3 or 4 box worths in that build...Just 1 and a bit built all that?...I am very impressed!

I shudder to think how much it will cost down this way (with all the mark-ups that occur along the way) but would love to have some of this if it can get here affordably.

What's the size of the playing surface, the main square seems to be 6 tiles so I'm assuming 36"x36". So it looks like 2 packs of sewers would yeild a prettey decent multi level sewers on th 4x4 playing surface I'd be using it on if I make a purchase.

Unfortunately I'm currently more into sci fi, so Titan is still calling my name (among many other sets). I guess it all breaks down to whether or not I ever find the time to actually build.

Do the clips have a greyish tint to them? They seem to blend in better in these photos than they did in the original photos from months ago. The clips in the original photos had a gawdawful glare to them that these in the current photos seem to lack.
Any photographic manipulation to get the glare down?

I have had some grand-nieces visit lately and have noticed that they get out some stuff and play what is essentially a RPG using whatever is handy to stand in for buildings and such. Some of those sets should make it more fun for them.

The new clips blend in much better, look like a winner!

I can say straight faced that there is absolutely no photographic manipulation here other than minor color balance tweaks to match real life eyeballs. That's why we offered the GIGANTIC link, so that people could get in there and really scrutinize things. Pretty happy about that too

We went with a translucent grey clip as we found that the old "clear-clear" transparent clips had an unexpected fiber optic effect that made the edges bright white. You can see a comparison here: http://www.worldworksgames.com/tclips_trans2.jpg . After some experimentation we came up with a great neutral tint that killed the edge shine and just sort of blended with the terrain.

Impressive, I like the way you did the doors, I take it they aren't attached since this is likely punch out design, could sorta make out that they are standing on their own. Nice for a single box and abit. Should make for some pretty impressive layouts, I think I might pick up a few of each for myself when they come out.

As always, beautiful work, and nice corrections to the original designs.

Edit: this is pretty close to how my own kitbashes for more durable walls were done, I love seeing this come to reality, the modularity you've accomplished is nothing short of brilliant. Paper rules !!

I keep forgetting to post here, but this looks EXCELLENT. I'm happy that you worked out manufacturing, because the final result is nothing short of stunning. If I had the capital sitting around, I would be buying maaany of these sets. Without the burden of printing and scoring and cutting and edging and finally glueing, I forsee GIGANTIC layouts from the more well off folks around here.

I will admit that these tempt me, though I think that I prefer the TLX sets (and how I wish that these were compatible). I linked pictures of the TLX Sewers as well.

They're not incompatible per se... I would say that they're actually MORE compatible than pre-TLX and TLX scenery. I don't really see any reason that they couldn't be used side by side and intermixed in the same layout. The height difference in floors is marginal at best unless we're talking about many many layers. It would probably take something like 4 or 5 layers for the difference in height to even be a problem, and that's if the pieces are intermixed. I just realized this, but you could easily attach anchors to one of these tiles and use TLX walls as well.

But I cannot, for example, use Malifaux floors in a Himmelveil sewer - so they are not 'compatible'.

They are not incompatible, per se, but I cannot mix bits and pieces like I could if the Malifaux sets were available as TLX releases. They are both beautiful, but they cannot be mixed in a single structure. They are no more compatible or incompatible than using Dave Graffam gates on a Himmelveil canal (which I have done) or placing resin furniture in a TLX building (which, again, I have done).

I favor TLX over Terra Clips, in part because I am a cheap bastiche and in part because I really like mixing between sets.

That said, Terra Clips is more portable, so may be purchased for bungin' into my bag for games.

Cheers for this Denny, the preview photos are gorgeous. I left my pre-order for the originals 6 boxes (2 of each) on file with Wayland games (i.e. I paid for the sets nearly a year ago!!!). I just hope that they arrive soon. To be able to build something so grand for only a box and a half is amazing.

That makes it a no sell to me.
Malifaux is a 'no pre-measure' game. Suprised Wyrd let you do this.

This may be a bit much, but:

I would like to see a picture of a single box worth of streets/sweres on the standard malifaux 3x3 surface. Just to get an idea of how much truly comes in one box.

Thanks for the kind words gang! Its definitely been a long time coming.

There's a few questions here and elsewhere online regarding how much one can yield from a single set of product. In the case of Sewers for example the product includes 16 6x6" floor tiles and 32 3x3" floor tiles. That translates to 6 square feet and that doesn't factor in walls, doors, stairs, etc.

We'll be addressing those and additional questions over the next couple weeks in a more visual format as we continue to build promotional assets. If I can squeeze it in I'll pull together a single shot with all elements from each box all laid out, so that you can get a quick feel for just how much is included (and believe me, its a lot).

Part of the fun for us is having the ability to really play with and experiment with a large quantity of the terrain for the first time. There's just so much potential here that its a bit of a challenge to boil it down to basics but I suppose that's a great situation to be in
