i would like the 135 and 45 degrees clips a cross clip can be circumvented!^^ the problem for 135 and 45 obiously is that then you'll need different wall sections! And i think this is the main reason why they have discarded the idea at first!^^ Same problem if you want something like an hexagon, instead of an octagon!^^ or.... you can solve it creating a 45° wall in cardstock with a anchoring section on the top 1,7mm thick! so using 4 of these babies you can convert a square room in an hexagonal one! (of course you end up with 4 empty triangular sections in the corners ) i hope you visualized it i don't anything here to sketch it up!^^ there is a 6" wall section with a door exactly in the middle and not on the corresponding notches? p.s. my math tells me that for a 1" square an inscribed hexagon has a side aproximatively of 0.577" (1,47 cm) so to create an hexagon room from a 3x3 you'll need walls of 1,731" (4,4 cm) and for a 6x6 one double it for 3.462" (8.8 cm) p.p.s. i have a couple of ideas on how actually build this sections maybe i should create a sample and post a pic if mods are interested! (i should test if it's better anchoring it on the top/bottom/both) |
