See pics below for my Temple of the Frog 4th edition D and D throw-down at Strategicon 2013 in LA. I used 22ish boxes of Terraclips, some of their downloadable terrain, as well as bits and pieces of other miniatures terrain, fish tank stuff, and toy store items. The Temple is 5 stories in total, w/full furnishings, murals, etc throughout the Temple and town (that’s several hundred chairs, tables, beds, etc fyi). We had a great deal of fun.

One cool thing I did was used extra staircase stuff as covers for the clips so that the clips were hidden mostly. Also if you look closely you will see the modified antenna/magnetic stands I used for flying creatures.

Parts of around 22 sets were used. Mostly Buildings of Malifax (for the wooden walkways on walls) and Prison of the Forsaken (for the spiky battlements and double sized temple walls). Ditto about 20 or so boxes of clips.

Terraclips come w/an abundance of staircase material (too much imo), so I used the excess to cut into clip covers using double sticky.

I just tore it all down today. I am thinking of building a Minas Tirith type castle next, I just have to resolve a better way to do multiple storys using the clips, it gets a little messy when you have congested buildings w/multiple levels. I will probably create some kind of custom platforms.

Interesting concept of clip covers.... Now that I look I can see some of them on the roof of some of the houses.
One other thing I noticed, your floors seem to have few clips on them and many of them are custom. I'm wondering how you avoided the clips.
Did you make a number of large custom big boards, or are they smaller segments that you joined together in some other way besides clips?

In the town, I used a town mat over which I placed tiles in certain areas, hence not all town areas have clips. In green areas, I used downloadable printed color terrain from World Works, so no need for clips. On the walls and buildings is where I used clips/clip covers. The covers for the wooden walkways on the walls were made by cutting a stairway plank in half, while the red covers were the red wall cap inserts. Town floor clip covers were the round counters provided in the box in some cases, and stairway planks in other cases.

That's a full weeks D&D campaign right there! Wow!
