ok, hi! its been a while for me visiting here. But I just was able to purchase the Terraclips sets! 1 of each! I continue work on my blog (though most of it is painting). Just posted a quick build I did with each set, and planning on combining all three for a cool map I will post later. Anyhow, If you wish to gander:: http://entiago-projectmental.blogspot.com/ enjoy! |

There's some great beginnings happening there Entiago. I especially like how you're thinking vertically with your layouts, that's really where TerraClips shines. Thanks for sharing! |

no problem! I love these things. currently trying to build a 3'x3' area incorporating all 3 for a sweet adventure..but it looks like I may have to buy 1 more box of each to get what I want! it is a 3'x3' area with 3 levels! level 1 sewers, level 2 mix of sewers, streets, and buildings. level 3 mix of streets and buildings. Only problem is I used up alot of the walls so far in sewers on just 3 1'x1' areas... I run out of the plain flat walls (no doors punch) to easily, and thats just doing the outline areas. |

3'x3' area is done! and she is a beaut! (if I say so myself). This was done with only 1 box of each set and 4 boxes of clips. More pics can be found on my blog here: http://entiago-projectmental.blogspot.c ... d-one.html |

Post subject: | Build Two! |
Alrighty, back again with a second TCP Build. This one again houses all three of the sets, but only 1 box of each set. Again I found myself running out of walls (I like rooms...) and just enough of the L-Clips to finish the build. This is a smaller build, about 1 1/2'x1 3/4' and 5ish layers high. Here are some pics:: More pics can be found on my blog over here:: http://entiago-projectmental.blogspot.c ... d-two.html |

may i suggest you a few tricks for taking pictures? (assuming a low budget digital camera not a smartphone) 1) get a tripod (just a few bucks) 2) set the iso to the lowest value 3)balance the white (camera should have an option to evaluate correct setting by taking a picture of a white sheet) 4)turn off the flash 5)long exposure time (1s) 6)delayed self shot (2 sec is enough) i've tried myself (being instructed by a pro) and it's WAAAAAAY better!^^ ah one last trick could be no DIRECT light on the subject (you can use a white paper as a screen) to avoid reflections, this can also be achieved by choosing the right angle for taking the picture!^^ |
