I saw Terraclips in my local game shop and eagerly picked up a Streets set and two Buildings set. For this set up I only really used one Buildings set. Turns out the Ogres were fast, but they were taken down quickly with really lucky rolls by the Humans. They were also swarmed but the knights and weren't able to keep up an effective counter attack. Sad day for Ogres. |

My only gripes: 1. The grey clips are too dark and detract from the glory of the art on the card. 2. Not enough L clips in the sets. I bought three clips sets and had TONS of extra T and I clips, but just three leftover L clips for two sets (really). Granted, it's my first setup so I'm sure I'll figure out some conservation tips, but it kinda irked me. Other than that... brilliant. I really enjoyed playing with these. They will be useful for some games. I can see a real role for them in my gaming. I REALLY liked the stairs and ladders. Awesome. They are so fiddly to build from print and play. These are excellent. |

Thanks for sharing okumarts! The great thing about the clips is that they are reasonably easy for us to tweak and experiment with. We initially had 100% clear clips but believe it or not, they stuck out like a sore thumb: http://www.worldworksgames.com/tclips_trans2.jpg . I have a number of other clip prototypes in the works which further reduce their impact BUT we've also learned a lot since the first release in terms of how best to mitigate the visual impact of the clips. Long story short, you'll see continued improvements there and it will always be backwards compatible. |

Denny, yes, that's right. Still you don't notice the clips when you are fighting for your life and we had a pretty epic game tonight. The Orcs/Ogres beat up the Humans/Mages like you wouldn't believe. This was just a crossfire hell hole. All in all jolly good fun, even though I lost. |
