While we do play some Pathfinder, the primary miniature game in this house is HeroClix. With their 1.5" scale, I don't know if folks were hesitant to invest in TerraClips or what, but I found nothing combining the two before I decided to take the plunge. Closest I came was someone who used it for HorrorClix, which was at least a start. Having fired off all that, here's the first full map I made for an actual game (instead of just seeing what I could do). Originally I was thinking Latveria, for Doctor Doom. But then it just became more of a city section than anything else. I've realized if I really want a village setup then I'm going to need another set of Buildings. This map was built from one of each and only lacks the railings, really. It measures 30x31 inches and thanks to the building is 5 levels. I still had a fair bit of materials left from the sets. I started with three boxes of clips and after what you see I was left with about 20 or so "T" clips, two dozen "I" clips, and 3 "L" clips. Keep in mind there were few places I shortclipped because I wanted to see how far the clips would take me if I connected almost everything, everywhere. Once you look closely you'll no doubt see what pieces came towards the end of the build as there's a few clipless locales. Turn the sound off (and sorry I nearly dropped the camera, I was sleepy): |

I have to ask: was it eau to play clic on a 1" grid? |

Great layout and thanks for sharing JDKenada! I have to ask; what kind of filter or frame blending were you using on that video? Or was that just the cameras image stabilization mode? It was almost as if you had the camera on a mini dolly or something

It was cool to watch the video. Great pics too. I love seeing everything combined on the table at a time. I really keep meaning to do just that and more (all of my TLX with one of each TCPs would be awesome). |
