I am running a campaign for the new Iron Kingdoms RPG, and I'm using terraclips pretty extensively. I'm writing session reports and including pictures, so I thought other terraclippers might be interested. I absolutely love terraclips and our campaign would not be the same without them! Here is a link to the thread of session reports: I apologize for just including a link instead of the actual pictures, but there are a lot of them, and I may keep adding more. |

I haven't purchased any TerraClips, but dang, that thread sure makes me want to! Nice job, and I loved seeing all the pictures. The "Hidden Temple" ruins were particularly awesome, as was "Hookman's Inn" (wow!). I do enjoy the hobby aspect of actually printing and building TLX stuff, but there is certainly something to be said for what you can accomplish quickly with TerraClips. <stares at empty wallet> <sighs wistfully> Thanks for sharing! ![]() |

Nice builds ![]() One suggestion I have for you to consider is to use covers for your flat clips on the floors. Just take a similar back circular counter provided with the Terraclip set (or cut an extra staircase step in half - there always seems to be way more staircases than necessary) and apply it w/double sticky tape to the floor clip once its in place. Makes the floors look more seamless. You could go full out and apply them on side clips too, but those are less obvious/distracting. |

Thanks for the feedback! @mrcaptainpants - If you ever get the opportunity, I definitely recommend trying terraclips. I'm amazed by how versatile they are, especially when you compliment them with other terrain. @shoak1 - The water cloth comes from the game dreadfleet. I can't vouch for the game because I'm yet to play it, but the cloth is great if you can find one. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I never realized that those floor-only counters were intended to cover the clips. It makes perfect sense though. Thanks for the suggestion. |
