I played my first game (the new Iron Kingdoms RPG) using a friend's terraclips and they are quite impressive. Very well made with excellent graphics... But I just couldn't get past the big goofy clips on the walls and floors. If TerraClips really takes off (and best wishes, they're really neat), would it be possible to consider "delux" clips? For those familiar with the old GW game Mordheim, these would be akin to what held together those buildings (hopefully with some design improvements to assure they would be good over multiple uses without damaging the cardboard) For example, an "L" clip to serve as the corner of a house might be modeled to look like a column of bricks/stones, or a large wooden beam. This would stretch from the top to the bottom of the walls. Similarly, an "I" clip to adjoin two floor pieces might also be made to look like cobblestones? I realize this would probably require multiple versions of each T, I and L clip, and obviously not be as cheap as the currently available clips, but would really allow folks to go that extra mile if they wanted to pimp out their dungeon/temple/inn/farmhouse. It might not be for everyone, but I'd certainly spring the extra cash for those, over the currently available clips. Thoughts? |

Having used those and the new TCP clips the TCP clips are way way better and more versatile. You are going to see them no matter what, the smaller size makes them easier to put on and remove, and the smokey grey is relatively unobtrusive. If you really want to have "seamless" builds then you might want to look at the TLX line of products. In the end it is the more versatile of the the two. |
