Regarding paints, I love the Reaper paints. I'm not particularly skilled and don't have much of a basis for comparison, but they've been top notch for my purposes. Base coat w/out thinning, thin nicely, good coverage, etc.

Benefit of living in Texas? I got the email yesterday, and the order arrived at my wife's office today. I'm out of the country for another week and a half, though....

I am anxiously awaiting my delivery today. 12.1 lbs of plastic goodness. They are less than 15 miles from me.

That is sweet! Thanks for posting...unfortunately, I already did it visually by printing off the KS images...that was fun. Actually, it was not too bad.

I have everything I ordered, only one flat mini (zombie hunter with guns) and a handful of extras that are nowhere in the KS. I will try and post pics to see if anyone can help identify them.

One thing I noticed, and it is more amusement than anything, is there are a couple minis which were not concept art but have slightly different poses IRL then online. They are great and it is not an issue, but just something worth noting.

There were (two?) minis that the sculpts were too late and they changed the minis before production.

If you post the ones you are unsure of, I am sure I can figure them out for you. I have been through three inventories so far, plus what I have interacted with my minis before they arrived and since.

Missing one add on (a second Orcpocalypse). Will have to go through the Vampire box later just to be safe. Did the sci-fi trooper heads seem a bit...flat to anyone else?

Got my massive box of Bones in yesterday, and went through a quick inventory of the add-ons (will be going through the Vampire order today or tomorrow). Most everything made it intact, including the big 3. A few had one item swapped for another (extra flaming sphere instead of a fire wall, extra arm instead of a head for the Jabberwock, and an extra set of scarabs instead of a spider swarm), and I'll be sending in an email to Reaper once I have everything catalogued.
I have to say, that Kaladrax is frickin ginormous! Saying that it sits on a 12" base - heck, even seeing pictures of it next to other figures - is nowhere near enough to give a sense of real scale to the danged thing. Which makes me all the more eager to toss it against a group at some point...

Sounds like the start I have planned for when I get my bonami painted up - except, instead of coming down from the sky, the undead dragon will be emerging through the castle, as the group has to fight their way out through the horde of undead awakened by the overflow of energies used to reawaken the dread dragon.

I also got through the Vampire list, and (somewhat surprisingly) didn't find a single figure missing. A fair number of extras, but nothing actually out and out missing. Though one of my dragons does have a mismatched pair of wings....

The inventory has begun....

So far I have inventoried everything except the Vampire box itself - everything is accounted for, but....

One of the smaller dragons has the left wing of the other small dragon.

That's okay though, so does the other small dragon....

I would guess that they were packaged at about the same time and somehow their left wings got swapped, but no harm, no foul.

Happy happenstance or was it luck on your part or intentional? We may never know.

Most likely the parts were close together and the wings got picked wrong.

I just finished the skellies and zombies (I let my kids do one of each). They are very flexible, it took some getting used to. In January I set myself the goal of finishing the Sedition Wars figures before the bones arrived, and I got all but 11 finished in February. Major burnout after that, but I have 5 of them at least close to finished now. I didn't want a repeat of Starship Troopers, which remains unpainted and unplayed 8 years later.

Doing an inventory of the Bones....

Missing a lot of figures, and duplicates of a bunch of other figures - I think that one bag was swapped for a duplicate of one of the bags already in the box.

No familiars, no female cloud giant, no fire elementals in the Vampire box, no Nova, no IMEF, no Zombie hunters.

That sucks. Well, at least for now. I suspect that in the end it will mean that you end up with replacements for the missing stuff and get to keep the duplicates.

Yeah - I suspect that all will be made right in the end.

I have mostly had good service from Reaper.

But, dang, I am missing a lot of models....

Honestly this is par for the course for me and reaper orders...

I mostly have had good luck with Reaper.

Finished three of the Reaper Bones dragons today, packed 'em and sent 'em. One more small dragon and then one of each of the undead dragons, and my commission is out of the way.

The material is very easy to work with - the only thing to look out for is that most of the methods used for cleaning mold lines off of metal, hard plastic, or resin do not work.

A good, sharp, clean blade works wonderfully well though, and cuts the mold lines off very cleanly. (Cut, don't scrape.)

Something that I did not expect is that the light material makes it easier to paint, because you can hold the model easily and at odd angles.

I used light greys and white for Deathsleet and Dark Elf skin triad for Ebonwrath. I painted the undersides of the wings in a more purple color, for light shining through the membrane of the wings.

The Auld Grump - took me less than two days for three dragons, start to finish, on working days no less.

Did you prime first or just paint?

Just finished inventory. Was I supposed to get only two if each skeleton, three of one zombie and two of the other?

Checking back over the Kickstarter, looks like 2 of each was correct so I got an extra zombie. I AM missing one of my two Orcpocalypse but nothing else. Not bad at all! Now I just need to figure out what to do about that...
