51 hours left on this one. The $15 pledge level gets you everything in a PDF ($18 for the color version too). The $32 pledge level gets you the PDFs and everything shipped and ready for you to cut ($37 for color version). That makes the digital version like $1 a set and the printed version right around $3 a set.

These could see some use for quick setup of Song of Blades and Heroes games...and RPG stuff too.

I love this. I can't imagine if/how I would use it in a game, but I love the innovation. I need to figure out if I'll support it just to support it.

My fear is that if I have to assemble it, there's a good chance it's just not going to fold up properly, or open properly, or SOMETHING. That, and as you say @sdavies2720, I have no idea how I'd even use the stuff. It's just not compatible with *anything* I would use. I suppose I could mod the bases to be square rather than hex - that would help. Still, it is very creative!

I was looking at the pop-up terrain kit - think it would be great for skirmish/wargaming. While I admire the ingenuity and artwork, WWG quality textures have kind of spoiled me for this sort of 'toy style' terrain - just can't see me ever using these.

Now, if they got Lord Zsezse Works to do the textures - that would be a winning combination.

Necromancer games is back with a kickstarter

5e books - monsters , spells , and adventures. Ed Grrenwood is involved, witch makes me suspect that the OGL door has been cracked open.

Edit: looks like they won't have any problem getting funding, they are inches away and just got started!

Ed G is attached to this project, and Mike M ( a OGL guy) has been flirting around this issue on twitter, I believe it will be soon ( he he snicker! ) specifically with DMG release late November ( the announcement ) ending with full release January '15

One thing that I have realized... this Elven set would fit right in for ruins in an Elder Scrolls tabletop game....

With about 40 hours to go, the is already at the $15.5k mark. I'm excited to see square towers unlocked at $16k, but I'm sad that an elven temple is so far away. So many great layers that they have planned over the next $2k though, and if you've tried out their elven mill, you know their layers are beautiful. I hope that everyone who loves paper terrain gets in on this!

I am in on it, but am really torn with what level to go with.

I just finished a 30 hour solo marathon to end my road trip from PaizoCon, so I had to set a reminder on my calendar to jump in on that tomorrow.

I don't recommend doing such a drive solo. I got to Cheyenne, WY at 1am last night, only to find that there were NO hotel rooms available in the entire city--nor any nearby cities. Don't know how the hell that happens. Since my motto (Okay, second motto. My first is still "There's no kill like overkill"--and, yes, I was able to get that printed on my PaizoCon badge) is "If you can't do something right, do something stupid," I decided to try to do an all-nighter. I finally rolled into my driveway at 4pm today (Yay! I got to deal with rush hour traffic!) after 30 hours of straight driving. I don't recommend doing that alone. Ever. I learned that pop and coffee aren't the key. It's the caffeine pills that truckers use. (those 5 hour energy things are nasty tasting, but they work, too) Towards the end, I was so tired that I was taking multiple pills to stay awake and it gave me the shakes and a headache.

Over 5,000 miles in 14 days--and almost a week of that was just in Seattle. Not doing that again.

One highlight, though, was getting to play with Frank Metzer at his "Gary Gagax Memorial" game of Ticket to Ride that he plays at the end of every Con. And I beat him savagely:

Maybe you can tell me, then: are all of their floor tiles and map packs layered PDFs? Do they all include optional grids in 1" and 1.5"?

I ended jumping in at the Hero level just before the end, too. All those other products of theirs was tough to pass up.

I would have if I had the funds. It was a stretch to get the Elven Lord set for me. I am probably going to regret that later, but I really didn't have a choice.

The Lord Zsezse Works Elven Kickstarter made over $22,400 ($23,400 if you include Paypal contributions), unlocked all the original stretch goals (except for the Mechanical Gate and Eleven catapult that were way up at $28K and $30K respectively) including the steampunk items, and even unlocked a new stretch goal for some Orc siege(?) equipment.

The way the steampunk equipment was sitting there near the top of the stretch goals right through the Kickstarter seemed to suggest that might be where they were heading after the Elven stuff - the idea of combining the two was especially exciting. The 11th hour addition of Orc equipment in the stretch goals, rather than more elven or steampunk equipment was a last minute surprise and seemed to me to be a bit of turn away from the rest of the Kickstarter.

Personally, I was hoping they'd extend the steampunk area and was a little disappointed they seemed to have dropped that favour of opening up an Orc line. While I'd not seen any requests for them to move into Orc sets, I've seen several comments, both here and on other forums, keen on them going down the Steampunk line, not only for the elves but also for dwarves as well.

Still Lord Zsezse Works will be busy for the next couple of months getting this lot out, so we'll see where they head once they've done that.

This series of adventure modules have all kinds of awesome things in them. I don't even play Pathfinder and am debating backing just because they are so awesomely innovative. Think I can convert to 5e easily enough to make it worth the purchase?

Lots of paper minis and terrain stuff for gaming, even if you aren't going to use the rulebook I have tried to make it user-friendly for general gamers. The final 3d Dungeon set is fold flat for storage and will have interactive layers for customization.
