He was one of the few add ons that I skipped.

I can't say that I am sorry - the second Kaladrax that I got instead is pretty sweet.

I am just trying to decide if I should get Mr. C....

Got my answer on Cthulhu;

I was actually really impressed by the Cthulhu. He fits together perfectly, stays together without glue, and the detail is AMAZING. I can't seem to find him in the store, so I don't know what they are selling him for, but I don't think you'd regret buying him.

To be honest, I haven't regretted anything I bought, and I bought just about everything. Just about.

$40 strikes me as more than reasonable for such an awesome mini.

To be honest - being wrong about how Cthulhu looks will make me very happy.

Mostly, it was not the sculpt that made me cancel him from my list - it was the fact that some folks on the Reaper forum decided that everyone complaining about the BVDs were 'trolls'.

You know what? If I am gonna be insulted for being dubious about a model then I am gonna change it to something that I know that I am going to like....

The concept art was very nice, the sculpt... lost a lot of the texture that I had hoped for - including the 'fat guy that has been on a diet' folds.

Now... it is likely that I am getting this fellow at some point, but dropping him allowed me to get a second Kaladrax, so... no complaints!
