COH/COV (Triumph and Protector servers) here. I tried WoW and DDO, neither one did much for me. I've played around with DungeonRunners too, but haven't played much recently.

On the 360, Catan and Chromehounds.

Dungeonrunners is kinda fun, when there is nothing else interesting to play... but I wouldn't pay to play it.

When I eventually get around to picking up a 360, I plan to get Catan. I love that game.

Heh, I haven't been playing a lot lately... and when I have been on, I'm mostly been getting my butt handed to me in monster play. I have seen you on, but usually seem to time my logging in to the split second before you log out... heh.

I have a lifetime subscription, too, but I haven't played in about three months. I've just been way too busy recently.

And I still subscribe to CoH/CoV, but haven't played that for even longer. I absolutely love that game, but I just don't have time. If I was smart, I would cancel my subscription, but i just never get around to doing it.

Heh, I was in the same boat as you for a long time Hentzau. I was paying for COH/COV and WOW while not playing either for months. I finally decided to crack down on my over spending and cancelled them both. The best thing is the characters are almost certainly not going to be wiped, so I can return when I feel like it, just by renewing my accounts. One day I know I'll return to COH/COV... but probably not WOW. I'm also going to return to SWG one day just to see how different it all is and see if I can have fun there... just not doing that anytime soon.

I'm glad you managed to get in the game at least Lord A, but sorry to hear both that you are super busy right now and that you are having trouble enjoying it. I've been playing these kinds of games since the launch of UO (played text based MUDs before that) so I forget what it's like to come into it without expectations.

You can change the user interface around by, I think, holding CTRL and tapping \ which will toggle the ability, so just do it again to save your changes. Maybe moving your healthbar to somewhere more visible for you would help?

You have to keep your eyes all over the place in these games, even more so when you get into Raid groups later, which are collections of groups that each have a max of 6 players... so you end up with a lot of stats to watch... especially if you are a minstrel (healer).

This type of game isn't for everyone, but I am glad I can open it up for you guys to try it out.

Slymoon, I can send you the invite if you like (just need an email address) and it should be valid for this whole month, I believe... so perhaps you will get time? It's a 10 day trial which kicks in when you activate the code they will send you... but would probably work best if you have a couple of blocks of times you can dedicate to trying it out.

One of the biggest difficulties with an MMO is that you can't walk away from your computer whenever you feel like it. Sure, it's possible, but your character will likely die. My wife gets annoyed at me sometimes if she decides we need to go somewhere, and I need half an hour to complete the group quest I'm working on before I can logout.

Anyway, it seems that I can only have 5 active referrals at any one time, but when you guys activate, it frees up a slot, so I have a few slots left should anyone be interested...

*A note about the names of the alts. Rolthelion and Yulareth are derived from the names of Rolja and Yula Tiegar a Human Ranger/Elf Druid husband and wife pair who along with Pelthar the Dwarven Jeweler/Priest and Eladil the Elven hero who suffered from amnesia were a quartet of heroes who have been constant characters with me for a very long time. Maybe some day I will write down their stories.

**Oops...almost forgot one. The cigar smoking, overcoat wearing blue 'troll' by the name of Charlie who was in actuality an alien from another planet whose ship crashed. He was only involved in a few stories, but he did add some contrast and was a fun character to create.
