It's hard to see the detail on the skeleton's clearly, but it does look like they aren't as good as they could be... but skeleton's are a pain to paint, and I'd be very happy with this paint job over my efforts.

As I said though, we have to wait until the production run to see the quality of the purchasable minis.

I finally tracked down the last of the other ones...

02131: Orc Bowman i think looks like the last guy in here 02550: Orc War Party

And the Skely with spear looks like this guy... 02014: Skeleton W/halberd but the halberd is made into a spear.

Yeah, I discovered how painful they were when I decided to use the MacBeth tartan on a Cawdor gang for Necromunda.

It was a good thing that I chose the dress tartan - the modern variant is much more complicated.... (And yes, I did have to simplify it further, losing most of the purples and dropping some of the white stripes.)

I know I am awaiting this, but don't know if I will be happy. Seems a lot of the sculpts picked are from Mr. Wiebe, and even though I want Mr. Wiebe's artwork to get out more, if the paint sucks, then it will do more harm than good.

Here's hoping that Reaper made some good decisions on honoring their sculptors.

I've been waiting for these to be released. It always good to have other options for prepainted. Although I really hope the skeletons are better than in the pics.

It always nice when theres a contest too.
