It does seem a bit steep - but this time they are expanding on an established line.

Folks know what they are getting, more or less, not buying a pig in a poke.

I am going to watch this one - it looks pretty danged good, so far.

I know it's not miniatures or board games, but Brian Fargo posted the spiritual successor to Planescape Torment, probably what I'd consider the greatest thematic video game ever made. They're basing it off a setting and game system that was also a Kickstarter designed by Monte Cook (of TSR Planescape fame). Most or all of the original band is back together and they're talking the right talk. It also hit $900k in a few hours.

Also, Shadowrun Returns (from Jordan Weisman) just posted its first gameplay footage. I'm looking through the site and can't figure out what rules edition they're basing the game on.

Well, this is the year of Shadowrun on Catalyst games. They are releasing new stuff for it all the time. Last year was Battletech. Lots of love for Shadowrun this year!

In a hole there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort...

New game from Richard Garriot! From the sounds of it, you can play it solo, with a world populated by your friends, or as a full MMO. I may be misunderstanding some parts, but sounds GREAT to me!

For all of us crafters out there who cannot afford a 3D printer but want to still have fun, looks cool.

I can just see creating a some quick props or enhancing certain tiles/wall with this thing. And the price is pretty decent.
