Just curious to see if anyone else has gotten ahold of this game. I saw it up at a local shop for $50.00(not including tax), but found it at www.thoughthammer.com for $45.00 including shipping. The game resembles Space Hulk in many ways which is really exciting, because I love Space Hulk as well. Here's a link with a indepth review of the game: http://www.gamefest.com/news/preview_de ... 7_0_5_0_C/ This would go really well with the scifi 3D cardstock that I've seen here. -Jesse |

This game got pushed back to an after TAX buy for me, simply because I over spent on Christmas(R/C cars can get expensive). But it is on the top of the list of buys. I am also a BIG SpaceHulk fan(Though I did get tired of just using the Genestealers from the 2nd edition). I've been following it pretty closely and it looks to be a pretty good game. And it would most definately benefit from WW model pieces. The only (current)choices are Chunky D(or classic) and Gothic Realms & Castleworks:Interiors since you can customize the floor tile for room shapes a little easier. I would guess the FirstLight set might work(maybe more so after the 1st exansion) as it is also more thematically correct. If you were so inclined, you could mix and match the 2 (using the wall/tile shapes from Chunky/GR & swap the "Tech" texturing of FirstLight in place of some of the stone walls, and make it a bit darker or just change the color scheme. Yes, I've been thinking about it a bit myself. ![]() I'd love a Chunky Dungeons styled SciFi themed set, but it probably won't happen since WWG is not likely to step on the toes of friendly competitors. And will branch in there own direction. (I am good with that!) -Floyd Mel(of Ebbels Minatures) makes a very nice SciFi set, with some cool recent additions... Derelict II: Sci-Fi Walls and Floors. (I hope that is ok to mention here) |

Good job. I'd like to see your other paint jobs for the Doom Game. Specially the Cyberdemon. |

Now I have 4 Mancubi done, and two left. Plus I did a Pinky Demon. I'm having a helluva time getting my Canon Powershot to focus decently on these minis though. Ill keep trying to get a better shot of the demon. I'll probably have the last two Mancubi done tonight, and probably a couple more of those pinky demons. |

Yeah, that helps. Mainly I was curious about the top layers. They looked similar to GW's Rotting Flesh color. I stick with GW because my wife bought me the Mega Paint Set about 3 or 4 years ago and I just keep refilling it when I run out. ![]() |

Very cool. I'll have to pick it up once its printed. It will be the first Scrye I've read in almost a decade. =) For those interested in painting the Doom miniatures, I started a painting guide. A couple people on the Fantasy Flight Games forum asked for me to put one together. http://www.jesseacosta.net/painting . Currently working on the Mancubus Step By Step guide, and will move onto the Zombie probably in a day or two. |
