These are some pics of Friga, a Verbeeg Rowdy for an upcoming D&D adventure. The model is "Frost Giant Princess" from Reaper. She is going to be one of the recurring villains in my Moonshae campaign... |

When I painted that mini I did the face up as a mask, to explain the rather stylized features. Then I statted up the mask as a magic item, a gift from Loki.... The Auld Grump, ice should be wary of gifts given by fire.... |

Nice job. Ugly and intimidating - great combination. FYI, her right ear looks to be (human) skin colored, rather than the green of the rest of her flesh, which makes her face look like a mask from that side. Retouching with green might solve that problem. (p.s. Seems odd to be making painting suggestions, when I can't even paint figures a fraction of that size and complexity.) |

Thank you all for the kind words ![]() @Grump: I had originally painted it as a mask, then I decided the weird face was ok because she was a faerie giantess and painted it to match the rest of her skin. @Zen: the tan ear I must have missed going ftom mask to face... I may go back and correct that... |
