Delve Packs are the "expansion" packs from Unbound (our very first release). These are comprised of 52 cards; at least 1 Adventurer, at least 1 Quest and half Dungeon and half Crawler cards comprise the rest. There is repetition between the Delve Packs and the Starter, but there are several unique cards to each pack. All sets are fixed. I'll add some links to the products and information on the KickStarter page, thanks for the suggestion! |

Return to historic , a place so friendly to adventurers that that they may never leave....  I am not a big fan of mega dungeons and dungeon crawling in general, but I make an exception for The Dungeon of Graves. The Auld Grump - stretch goal #1 has been passed, Bill Webb is writing 'Lisa Told Me To Print More Books' one hundred times, as per their contract with Paizo (following the Tome of Horrors incident). |

Thanks Talae, it's always a work in progress it appears. I'll check out their column, I noticed they got a figure in Zombicide, interesting crossover. We're still pulling the video together and should have that posted this weekend.

Actually, I just went with the $100 level - the swag is nice, but most of what I want comes in the game itself. I placed an Abomination for Zombicide as well - those zeds will be nice for Fallout, not just as bad guys, and statting up the Fatty as a Feral that explodes (wetly) when killed and the Abomination as a surgically altered Franken-Feral was pretty easy. OGRE 2012 Kickstarter is now at T-minus 40 hours and has topped the $700K mark - which means Steve Jackson is now committed to also doing a CAR WARS Kickstarter! Checking in at a $23 support level gets you a special Car Wars T-shirt and be part of helping develop the Car Wars Kickstarter effort. ...and they are SO chomping at the bit for $782K to retake the record (for games) set by Zombicide's $781,597 last week. |

Couple things: a) Goblinworks Announces the Pathfinder Online Technology Demo Kickstarter Project, an online MMO which already is successful as it's reached $60K - ahead of its original soughtafter $50K. EDIT: link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/167 ... ology-demo b) OMG --- OGRE 2012 Designer Edition (6th) has done it! New record (and still counting) of *** $800,908 *** pledged of the original $20,000 goal - and it still has 15 hours to go! (Well, what did you expect, it's an OGRE - just runs over its opposition!) O M G ... OGRE 2012 finished at 5,512 Backers with $923,680 in pledges.  Having bought into supporting the project (game plus a-heck-of-a-lot of swag), now I'm the kid waiting for Chirstmas when my huge box arrives on my doorstep Octoberish - a month ahead of when it hits the game stores.  Okay that's my last post in regards to this... now returning control of the thread to whomever has something else of interest... |

Mantic Games has launched a Kickstarter for the hardcover of . I am currently waffling about going in at the $35 level, which nets the hardcover rules, a mini rulebook, 10 dice, and the PDF, with a $25 addon to get three plastic werewolves (which will go up to six werewolves if they get $10,000 - very, very likely) or going in at $75 and getting a dwarf starter set as well as the books, PDF, and dice. Also up is from Studio McVey and Cool Mini or not. The $80 pledge nets you the base game, which has a $90 MSRP. The first stretch goal (quite likely) adds alternate female sculpts of the troopers, without adding more figures to the box. 50 minis in the box. The Auld Grump |

First two Stretch Goals for Kings of War are now just a memory - they added some new ones once those were reached and are now chugging merrily toward goal number 7.... An Ogre set in plastic for KoW is going into sculpting. Like the werewolves they are getting a buy 1 get 1 pledge. This could end up costing me some money.... I want both the ogres and the werewolves. So, most likely I will go for the hardcover book, the werewolves, and the ogres, much as I would like to expand my dwarf and undead armies. $10,000 of the pledges were from just two of the high level rewards - two folks are being used as models for their own figures.... And they got gobbled up in the first day. The Auld Grump |

Just as well that I waited - they have added a new $110 'veteran' pledge level - hardcover book, PDF book, mini rulebook, two units of werewolves, two units of ogres, one unit of ogre shooters, one unit of ogre shooters, wound counters, dice, and metal female vampire. Really want to get in, but the miniature gaming community in Seattle frankly sucks. Their is Warhammer/40K and Warmachine/Hordes with a TINY bit of Malifaux. That is it. Sad.

@AuldGrump: One of the beauties of Kickstarter system is that you can change your support level anytime before the close of the support period. So if you want to increase (or decrease) the actual monetary supporter level (and this is different from the total bill which includes any extra goodies you may want to get) all you have to do is click the "Manage Your Pledge" button and click on a different support level. Just saying, in case it wasn't clear. Kickstarter has now been added to my 'junkie' habits... alongside WWG...

Need a way to use all that wonderful TLX Titan terrain? Marc Miller (thru his Far Future Enterprises) has just launched "TRAVELLER5" on Kickstarter. This newest (5th) edition decended from the lofty original "Little Black Books" will be a 600-page Core "Big Black Book" with lots of whole new stuff. Only a couple days into the project and it has already passed its goal of $24K with almost 200 backers. (How do these guys hear of these things so fast?) TRAVELLER is my all-time favorite RPG.  Oh, yeah, I'm in! ... And it came out in 1977 - the same year as Jackson's OGRE. How strange I'm able to be backing both!

Rappan Athuck has broken the RPG Kickstarter record. Currently at $98,659.I do not like dungeon crawls. Rappan Athuck contains everything that I don't like about dungeon crawls. I like Rappan Athuck....  I think that the reason is that the PCs are on missions into the place, that the place itself is not the goal, merely where the adventures take place. Speaking of Cthulhu, Thomas Phinney is trying to do a of the typeface used in the Call of Cthulhu logo, complete with fancy swash caps and all. Since I'm a type geek, I'm all over this one. |
