It might be possible to get the Maiden a little love for this Kickstarter - seems like a very nice combination - Reaper has a bunch of were-sharkies, WW has the Maiden, and Frog God will have the adventures.

“Frog God Games has committed to doing more than just putting out another pirate campaign,” said Rachel Ventura, Frog God Games VP of Sales and Marketing, “This is going to be a hardcover, full color extravaganza, complete with Player’s Guide and enough swag to sink any pirate ship!”

“We decided to take what we learned from Kickstarting Rappan Athuk and crowdsource Razor Coast, because itallows us to unleash a complete experience for both Pathfinder and Swords and Wizardry fans,” said Bill Webb, Frog God Games CEO.

“We plan to compile the campaign articles into their own book, create a player’s guide, develop and include an independent system for ship-to-ship combat, have treasure chests of unique pirate items, and offer a Tallship Cruise with the creator, Nicholas Logue,” stated Ventura. “We’re also planning stretch goals that include expanded art and cartography from the same artists the fans have already approved, as well as from new artists of similar style and talent, poster-sized printed maps, custom character sheets, and more.”

Frog God Games Razor Coast Kickstarter starts December 25th 2012 at midnight and will run for 30 days.

“After the Kickstarter gets funded, Frog God Games has pledged to fulfill not only the pledges from the backers but all remaining pre-orders, national and international” said Agresta, speaking on behalf of Logue. “As of October 19th, 2012, I finished honoring every refund request Nick received. Making good on Nick’s past obligations cleared the way for Frog God Games to step in and finally bring this to print.”

I... almost did, but just about that time things started looking dicey for SA, so I held off. Now I wish that I hadn't.

Honoring the previous obligations was a classy move on the part of the Frogs. And waiting for folks to recover from the Bones was a good idea on top of it.

See if I understand correctly how it works..
If I pledge 25$, I can have 25$ worth of DCM (among any NAT/PPM or ALT set, not compelled to take a complete set) + the full ALT
If I pledge 100$, I can have 150$ worth of DCM, not compelled to take a complete set (say, I can take 75 ruffian if I want ?)

Do you deliver to France ?

Almost, ALTs are not included in the Single purchases unless you've pledge a minimum of $100. You do get 1 full set of Tidal Wave ALTs at $25.

You can mix whatever NAT/PPMs you like for your $25.

Not what I was hoping for, but going by comments it looks like I am in the minority - I was hoping for something closer to the concept art. Less upright, less anthropoid, more rugose tegument.

The folks at Reaper were very nice and let me change my order. While I do not want this version of the Big C, I have no complaints.

*EDIT* The skin and the upright posture are my only major complaints - the head on the brute is fantastic, and the scale is pretty danged decent.

Not what I was looking for either, but I like it enough to keep it. I have some ideas of how to paint it. My daughter was going to get one to give a friend as a HS graduation gift. For Latin last year they did a really nice roman villa, labeling all rooms in latin, and using small Cthulhu statues (from Chaosium's Bag o'Cthulhu, or something) for the home gods. My daughter was hoping for a big one of those cthulhus -- I'm glad she decided not to get this one based on the concept art. The art was close-ish to what she was thinking, but this would have been completely off.

I did have some misgivings about ordering stuff based on the concept art, but the early pieces seemed pretty true. No complaints, just a learning opportunity for me.

It would not be impossible to bring it closer to the concept art with green stuff.

I was leaning that way until somebody decided to term the folks that were disappointed as 'trolls'.

I decided right then that it was not worth it.

But the folks from Reaper itself were nothing but polite about it, so, no complaints.

Yeah, it looks really cool!

but I don't have any extra cash to throw away on it! Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get involved with the KickStarter, but Reaper tapped me for all my extra cash till probably the first of the year!

2)i want some miniature ks with base in europe and FREE SHIPPING!^^
(also if some companies have 2 warehouses us and eu i hope they can split the order and give free shipping for everyone)

This probably depends more on where they are manufactured. If they have multiple warehouses for distribution, but still are manufactured in the US only, I would expect to see shipping charges.

This last is the most important.

Mind you - I expect that those projects will need to charge shipping to the U.S., turnabout is fair play.

From what I could tell on the site, if it's a UK based kickstarter, in the UK you see it in pounds and the shipping will be standard. If you see it in the States, it'll show dollars and international shipping costs. And of course vice versa (this is a change for us - previously, we had to manually add the international shipping, now it should show).

It did make me smile that one of the 1st kickstarters is a tea-van...

Another miniatures Kickstarter - Damsels of Darkmyre

I like exactly one of the miniatures revealed so far -

The Cyberzombie - she would be good as a non-feral ghoul in Fallout, I think, after removing the skulls and filling in the gaping wound on her arm.

More than a bit pricey though, and for some reason the $50 pledge is a better price per mini than the $100 pledge....
