The Kladrax model is great. I like it much better than the Cthulhu model (which I would have preferred to be more alien, less human like in form - just seeing it meant to cause a sanity check). |

Downloading the PDF for Swords & Wizardry right now. The Auld Grump, PDF... why did the novel have to be a PDF? Why not a nice, friendly ePub or Mobi? |

I have a Kindle Fire and my wife has a Kindle that I might end up confiscating (due to actually using mine regularly). For now, I will be taking a break from my book. |

not sure if this has been posted here yet... Hellfrost is quite a nice fantasy setting for Savage Worlds. This is their Arabian Nights setting. If it is as detailed as Hellfrost... |

This one pushed my nostalgia button hard - . The Auld Grump, the original Elite had the best 3D radar that I have ever seen in a video game. *EDIT* Reaper Bones Fire Giant green - |

I could have sworn that this was already here, but I cannot find it, so... - some nice figures, and the rules for those that want 'em. I am still strapped from Bones (ow), and am not interested in the Savage Worlds version of the game, but I will be buying some of those miniatures for use in Fallout. The Auld Grump |

Another that I thought was here, but is not - . Is it just me, or does the leader's coat look sort of... brownish? The rules are available as a . This looks like something that some of the more recent TLX sets would be mighty pleased to meet. The Auld Grump, $90,000... I hope it gets that far. |

Dunno if you guys saw this one: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/131 ... alien-host I think I'm going to take a flyer on the $50 option - I like the style of the aliens and they can always serve as more demons/devils/weirdness. |

Not gaming related, but would have been nice for my New England Horror Movie Party - - just over the $5,000 goal. Set in Maine and filmed in Maine - in a house that really is supposed to be haunted. (The film maker has not seen any ghosts, but he hopes....) I like haunted house movies. The Auld Grump |

Finally grabbed vampire level Reaper kickstarter. Dropped Sophie for basic paint and Cathuru! $155. The plan is to give some as holiday presents to two nephews, my son and some of the neighbor kids that are in the game. The rest go to the big boys game. Crazy how incredible deal this is! P.S. Anyone else finding the need to write in a lot more female NPCs? 50-ish girl sculpts!?!? I may get in trouble with the wife over these.... |

Thanks for the link and heads up Kane - 'Castle Legos', essentially. I love Castle Foundry's logo. Like others I don't have the money for anything as extravagant as this, but I wish them luck. BTW, my KS metal Sophie (regular) came last week. |

Like I need MORE reason to avoid WOTC. If they try anything against the new TSR, I may have to take action AGAINST them and not just avoid them. |

WotC went after a bunch of the minis kickstarters - besides that one, I also know of at least two others: Center Stage Minis and Tentacles and Eyeballs. I understand their general stance of protecting their IP, but I also believe (and IANAL) that most of their "requests" were pushing too far. And they're relying on exactly that idea: we're big and have money and lawyers - and you don't - to win. If I wasn't already have a generally boycotting their products, I'd start now. But apart from their dungeon tiles, the quality of their products is shit anyways. |
