I know about the whole spiral. I was talking the last jump across to the cliff top. In the youtube video I saw it looked like thats where you plant the bloom. I play solo still seeing as how I don't know what I'm doing, and even if I did half the time I can't see it anyway. So I guess I'll hold off on it. I know some people like unforgiving things like this. But I'm not a fan. Its just plain not fun, and hey sure completing it gives a feeling of satisfaction. But only for a minute. Not like the hours you spend trying it. Its not like repainting your house or something where you get to look at it again and again and people come over and admire it. You finish it and move on. I don't understand how people manage to chat in these games. I can't even figure out how you are supposed to move and trigger you skills all at the same time considering thats 10 different keys all using 1 hand. How do you manage to type on top of that? Can you use a mic? |

Well, glad you already knew there was more. This puzzle didn't bother me too much, the next part is worse because you die if you fall which is VERY frustrating. There is one in the Norn lands where you have to avoid perched ravens or get knocked off. But just like the start of the Spiral you don't die from the fall. For tips I'd try zooming the camera in and pointing it down at a bit so it's easier to see when you reach the edge of the gap. I'd also recommend short hops where you just jump and stop at places like log bridges (rather than just running across it). Disabling double tap dodge can be a life saver, nothing is worse than trying to make a tiny adjustment by a simple tap on a key, then doing it again and suddenly your guy dodges and literally dives off the platform to his death. The other one that gets me still is occasionally I'll strafe when I meant to just turn. As for chatting, it's easy. Stop whatever else your'e doing, type quick, then start playing again. It's about the best I can manage. "R" is set for auto run so you can use that to travel when you type. EDIT: Found a video of each part of the puzzle. Morgan's Spiral Dreamdark Enclave It makes me want to cry knowing how close I was to the top of the Enclave the final time. It was somewhere on the last set of mushrooms. |

Did you contact support to see what they say about your gameplay? Maybe there is some kind of patch due out soon or a specific driver to rollback to or something. |

GW2 support said try updating my drivers, but no drivers from the nvidia site will install on my pc. I use nvidia's find a driver test, it recommends one, I download it. But when run it says no supported hardware found and shuts itself off. Same thing happens with a particular driver recommended by GW2 support. Nvidia's support page says their support is for people who bought and installed the card as a separate item. For prebuilt pcs you need to check the manufacturers site for custom updates. I check dell's site but there is no updates there, the last is from 3 months before I bought my pc. Considering that it took 2 or 3 days each time to get a reply from GW2 support I finally just got tired of trying to fix the problem. And also I found it really hard to stay in the game. WHen passing through an area you constantly find the same events going on again and again. So there is no sense of achievement. You're never really done with anything. I was up to like level 18 or something and already getting tired of the game itself. And then borderlands 2 came out so I just started playing that instead. |

That does sound rather frustrating. I don't blame you for pulling the plug. I don't really have the same sense of monotony, but I have been trying to vary my tasks and my zones to avoid just that. I also don't join in on every event going on (although, I do probably join in on most). |

Hmm, shoulda looked here before I responded to the other thread asking you if you managed to find anything out for your graphics. The same DEs can get repetitive, so if it's one I'm sick of I'll just run past it, I don't need the rewards that bad. |

Anyone know a program to convert .avi files? I used FRAPS to make some game play videos. But they are far too big to upload. I did make a slideshow with some video screenshots, but you really can't get a feel for it without seeing how fast and continuously the errors flash and change. |

Yikes. Don't think I need to see a video to say I'm not sure how you played that at all. I'm fortunate that my laptop runs it with no issues, I've never seen it do anything like that, let alone a constant stream of errors like those. |

HAve you tried fullscreen instead of windowed? I used to have issues with City of Heroes and Team Fortress 2 in windowed mode years ago. |

I did play full screen. The images are prtsc of the FRAPS videos. Its annoying and sometimes headache inducing, but because the errors change constantly you could actually play it because its flashing sections of clear and blocked. Luckily the game sort of auto attacks for you. If being accurate was a factor it wouldn't work. But all you really need is a general idea were the enemy is. The color changes and white out were bad enough. But what was really weird was the way the actual environment changed. Not just little things like flowers appearing and disappearing. But huge boulders too. And cliff faces changing into log walls, really weird things like that. |

I've got the game on disc. But I didn't try to reinstall or anything. The only thing GW2 suggested was updating drivers. |
