Well, the local Books-a-Million! got the reprinted 3.5 rules in, and within a couple of days... all the Pathfinder Core Rule books sold, leaving two of each 3.5 book on the shelves....
I... don't understand that. The 3.5 books are limited edition, the Pathfinder books will be in print for at least a while longer, so why did the Pathfinder books outsell the 3.5 books, and why did the 3.5 books help sales of Pathfinder?
The reprinted 3.5 books and the Pathfinder Core book go for the same amount, though the Pathfinder book is thicker, and pretty much contains both the Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's Guide. (The Gamemastery Guide is not quite the same thing.)
But still...?
