Anyone else playing Torchlight 2 nowadays? When it came out, I was deep in Guild Wars 2, so it sat untouched for a while until recently. I'm really enjoying the graphics and the options for a lot of characters are pretty decent.

Torchlight 2 is a complete waste of time - so far I have (happily) wasted about 40 hours on it.... :P

I have had fun with it, and it is currently one of the three games that I am likely to boot up - the other two are Minecraft and XCom - the original. (How can a game with such kludgy graphics, music, and game play be so much better than the sleek updated version?)

Truth be told, it is the second highest ranker, with Minecraft in the lead by, well, lots.

But when I am playing it I am having a good time, so, I give it a big thumbs up - it feels like Diablo. And, I am not going to get D3 for as long as it has the Must-Be-Online 'feature'. (I gather that all of their playtesters told them to get rid of it, yet somehow Blizzard was still surprised when the players didn't like the 'feature' either....)

In Minecraft, on the other hand, I have just finished building a mortician's parlour and crematorium.

Played it as soon as it was available (preordered), and finished with an Outlander character. It has some of the most enjoyable moments seen in gaming in the last years, with an handful of areas so full of character my jaw dropped (salt barrens and that werewolf haunted place first and foremost).
Difficulty is pretty much spot-on at any chosen level, and incredibly even grinding/farming is kept very low.

A great, smooth and engaging hack'n slash.

Pre-Ordered so I could score a copy of the original...and haven't played either. Never found the time for the original, then GW2 released and I haven't even installed T2. I just trust it to be there waiting for me, like an obsessed girl you friendzoned cause you were in a relationship. Eventually things will get rocky with GW2 and T2 will be there with arms open.

Just started playing it and, for me, it takes all the things I DID like about Diablo 3 and all the best parts of Torchlight and refines it into a VERY smooth whole. Just feels amazing.
