Here is a steampunk based game. Looks interesting. There is also a large .zip file of paper models related to the game. Doesn't seem to conflict with WWG yet. You have to do some searching to get to file. |

Did you ever play this? Looks like the main page might be down now. |

Nope, never did play it. I do not play many games. My main interest is the paper model terrain. ![]() |

I haven't played any tabletop Steampunk - yet - but I have a set of friends who have developed their ruleset for a Steampunk LARP [Live Action RolePlaying] called R.U.S.T. It's a bit of combo steampunk with fantasy elements in it, including dwarf, elf and anthropodal races. They play once a month for a long afternnoon/evening session at our local park. My character is a jacklope-based anthropod. |

We are off in our own little corner of the park - actually on the other side of the lake and behind the sparsely used corral and mini playground, so there isn't any interaction from "muggles", so to speak. |

Hah! That's good to know. I remember playing live-action Vampire / WOD in High School and people being freaked out. |

Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha! Now, our Knox College group (which plays during the year when school is in session - and, yes, that's the Knox where Lincoln debated Douglas) is baselined with the Knox College Roleplaying Club which arranges the venue for our game. They are able to reserve the Old Mainbuilding (site of afformentioned debate) and we usually get the run of the entire building all evening until midnight. (Our games last about 6 hours!). The group has over a twenty year continous history - mostly with White Wolf vamp, werewolf campaigns and others - including the current new Harry Potter game. Next Fall, one of our alumni will be lead storyteller for a new vamp campaign where everyone starts as a ghoul under an NPC vamp until we get deemed "worthy" of the Embrace. This will bring in our newest player crop into the world of White Wolf's World of Darkness. |

Wow! What an excellent story. I love that not only does your group have history, but the venue is part of history as well! That new campaign concept is great as well. Almost like starting as a level-0 D&D character (or taking a level in Expert or Commoner, etc.). I would love to hear how it goes. Also - which HP game do you speak of? |

Our Harry Potter LARP is our own homebrew, following generally upon the lines of NWoD - and it is still evolving! New Necromancy rules going into effect this Fall, and the Supplemental Monsters and & additional spells is also being worked on. It is a community effort. It's a shame we will never be able to publish it because of all the "borrowed" material we've put into as a base before we started our own rules and concepts. |

Oh that's cool! I like that you are using NWoD for it. |
