I need to know what you think of as the top six choices for textures from WWG that work in a fantasy game. Long story short is that I am building a set of six shelves. Well, it is built but needs more textures. I currently have Gardens as one of the shelves. What should I use for the others? Here is an image pf what I have so far. Sorry for the sideways image. I am on mobile uploading it. |

Gardens, Himmelveil, Skull Cove, Hellworks, Thoumont's (interiors,) Castleworks. |

My votes were: Oubliette of Peril Feisty Friar (first floor) Cathedrae Noctis Hinterland Cliffs and Forests combined Himmelveil Streets and Canals combined, or Himmelveil Sewers |

I would try to have a above ground/below ground approach, moving from an exterior texture to interior, to dungeon to caves... I'll have to check what sets would work for such an approach. |

Looking good, Talae. Are you planning to put a varnish on to reduce scuffing? Or maybe just update the textures from time to time? |

I hadn't thought about sealing it in any way. I have never sealed my paper terrain. I guess it could be a good idea. Suggestions? Here is an update after a good 45 minutes with a black sharpie: |

Two images before I head to bed at this ungodly hour. One is current progress. The other is what happens when printing a canals tile when your printer incorrectly thinks the Cyan is empty. This marks the third time I have had printer issues during this build. That combined with lack of glue causes mild frustration. Ok, maybe more than mild... |

After days of struggle with the printer, I fixed it! About five minutes after that my son woke up. So much for progress today... |

Okay guys, which one for bottom layer: -Lair of the Dragon God (Lava dungeon goodness) -Oubliette (dark dungeon fitting for a lower level) -Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings (pretty self explanatory of what this one is) |

I'd put them in this order: Oubliette Dragon God Dwarven Stuff |

My reservations with Oubliette are that is looks rather similar to Streets. I am leaning towards the Lair of the Dragon God due to that. Also, LotDG has a lot of red coloration whereas the rest of the shelf so far is very green. The added color might help to make the shelf pop even more. Next question: Are the black edges of the foamcore good enough or should I try and figure out a way to texture them also? |

When my wife leaves me and I have time on my hands, I am totally stealing this idea. I may have it done by mid-August. |

Update with a few pics before bed. I am getting there. Hoping to be done tomorrow so I can focus on painting some minis to put in it. |

Looks Awesome - what is it? A Storage Box? A cool far-realm multi story 3D tower? |

The intent was to use it as a shelf of shame to get the minis up off my desk while still being close by to work on. Now it might also double as a display shelf. |

That will make an wonderful mini storage/display shelf, particularly if you put clear plexiglass doors on the shelf so you don't have to dust the minis. |
