Looks great. I've been sorely tempted by your past kickstarters, but just couldn't make it work with my budget. But the spiders look awesome, and I can use them. So I think I'll be in.

Is there any chance that past sets will be offered as add-ons in this kickstarter? Or is that not something you do?

I'm a little confused by that page you linked. Is it just 1 big mini that you guys are making? Or a bunch of different ones? It sounds like just 1, but you show a bunch of others with riders in the pics.

And I've always had a question about your bases: why do they have those notches on the bottom around the edges?

Lost at sea? That sounds bad.

Ah, ok. I wasn't sure if there were several colossal minis with optional riders or just the 1 main one or what.

It definitely helps! I've been starring at numbers and stuff for so long that I glaze over things or miss obvious weirdness because I've been reworking things so much!

btw, thanks for reviewing the rewards, I was just thinking about it today and whether it looked odd. (I'm assuming it was you that left the comment)

They're about a foot long (the base is 8").

Corrected - hadn't realised they were on 8" bases, that's awesome.

Apologies, the KS is cancelled at this time while we resolve issues with our first KS.

Bummer, but smart. The overhanging sentiment can be a killer! I've backed a lot of projects and the arc of backer emotions is starting to get predictable. Giving some time (and delivering) is probably best.

My stuff arrived yesterday from the Kraken Kickstarter. I haven't had a chance to look closely at what shape it is in, but the package was beat to hell. It literally looked like it could have been jumped on and kicked around.

I pledged for quite a bit and need to compare to my notes to see if I am missing anything. The Kraken has a serious gap and some minis fell off bases (a couple tentacles and both painted mermaids). Also, many of the bases have a ton of flash. Not sure if it will impact use at all yet.

I will check closer sometime this weekend to see what else is damaged or missing. Overall it doesn't seem TOO bad.

We're working damage control these days, so any issues, please contact via KS so we can keep it all in one place - and we'll take care of you the best we can.

Kind of a related question, for the unpainted figures would it be better to get everything unassembled, so that you can paint them and then attach them to the base afterwards?

Someone on the KS brought this up, and I though it made a lot of sense.

I will definitely give you a breakdown via Kickstarter on my issues. Greyhaze, thanks for working with everyone. While I am unhappy with how things showed up, I know you are working to get it fixed.

As for the forum here, would you guys like a further breakdown of the condition of my stuff? I am sure Greyhaze is fixing future boxes, so it might not be relevant.

As for the unpainted, it is common to get unpainted minis unattached (unless they are sculpted with a broccoli base). Sending them unattached could save to some hassle for sure. Many painters will likely take them off and reattach anyway.

That's the idea, make it easier for everyone involved.
