It was brought up in another thread, but I figured I should post about it in a stand-alone thread: This is my 6000th post! That is the last milestone these forums offer. Over the years, I have had much happen in my life. I joined the forums long after beginning to lurk. I was in college and playing D&D with my friends and girlfriend. She later became my wife and I joined the forums to show off some horrible build of Gothic Realms using regular paper and ceral box cardboard and some dollar store foamboard. This forums jas been a place that I have chosen to share positive life moments like my children being born and graduating college. Also, starting teaching and the challenges that come along with it. I have shared negative things like my father's tragic accident that left him as a TBI group home patient with me as one of the guardians, and also the family battle I went through couple years later about what state he should live in. Most recently, I have changed schools and districts to be at a better place for my daughter since she started kindergarten yesterday and I get to be at the same school! I would prefer not to have this thread dwell on the state of WWG, but I have been here and plan to stay around both in front and behind the scenes for the foreseeable future. I consider many of you good friends despite not knowing most your actual names. Thank you for giving me a place to call home on the internet and hide from the horrible forums of negativity out there. |
