A few weeks ago I purchased some of the Todd MacFarlane's . They are some of the best dragon figures that I have seen. Now I am looking at who is getting ready to shamble into toy stores. looks nothing like how I would picture him, but that is definitely a Lovecraftian horror. Now I really want a WW Arkham Works... Where were these when I was a kid? Ah well, I can still use them for gaming, eh? What other toys are out there that would make good figures for gaming? The Auld Grump, somnolent typist... |

I dunno of any current toy lines but if anyone is looking for correct scale cars to fill the streets of UM, transformers G1 stunticons are exactly the right size (except I would imagine Motormaster but I don't have him to be sure). There's probably something in the Armada or Energon line that's close but they don't look like real cars. ![]() |

Ayuh, a cavalry formation with one horse per ten feet ain't the best example of horsemanship ever seen. I go with 5'x10' using GW cavalry bases. The Auld Grump |

Okay, I lied - I didn't almost pick up the hinge winged green dragon. I just forgot that I had picked it up. Putting it next to the MacFarlane dragons is... sad. The newer dragons are so much better. And there is a second series in the works. I will have to pick up the Sorcerer Clan Dragon soon. The Auld Grump |

Series 2 of the McFarlane Dragons... I was afraid that because they were the same clans as series 1 they would be too similar... these don't even look like the same species! ![]() The Sorcerer Dragon 2 with the staff has got to be a boss villain, complete with character levels in, well, sorcerer... If the party manages to get his staff somehow they will be left with the problem of using a 25-30 foot long staff... The Auld Grump |

Not a follower of the series, but are there pictures of the Series 1 Dragons? I could find a use for the Komodo, I think. |
