we use Attack Rolls, AC, HP and movement (ground or flying), and I make her figure out whether someone hit or not (roll + attack vs. the armor class). Its a great tool to help math skills, thats for certain.
And I buy her her own boxes of minis (and she gets them for Christmas and Easter, too), so we get to trade minis. She drives a pretty hard bargain, too. Still has a Beholder Lich and Skeletal Courser that she doesn't want to trade for anything.
Any tips on properly saturating him in geekness at this early stage?
