I love the skin tones on the Troll type dude at the top. Nice boils! (and it's not often you get to say that in polite company) Where do the purple worm mini's come from? I really like those. |

As always Bruenor, *very very* nice painting. I found a few of my old ones when I was really at my top in painting, they look good (too me) but really not anywhere near that level. And I was into a black undercoat and drybrush everything phase. |

![]() ![]() Apart from the Troll and Barbarian, the rest are what I class as Tabletop, without sounding bigheaded my Tabletop is better than what most folks class as TT, as I hate to see minis just flat painted with no shading or highlighting. Most places you'd pay what I charge for say the Scrunts above, and get a flat basic no shading paintjob. I always grey undercoat, and only ever drybrush hair, beards and the like, the rest is layered or blended. Suppose you get what you pay for nowdays, but I give that little bit more. (Enough pimpage now, James ![]() |

They were and still are, I have a load of Scrunts to paint up, and they will all be Judges, and I have to get a Foundry Dredd to lead them. |

The Mongoose Dredd is a nice alternative. He is in a traditional authoratative pose, comes with a perp on a holding post, and is still cheaper that Foundry. I would definitely recommend the Mongoose one. I don't like to encourage anyone to pay the insane prices Foundry wants for it's 2000AD minis. I would love to own them, but not at that price. Unfortunately I'm seeing more companies these days releasing "premium sculpts" for $10+. That'll put me out of the hobby and solely into pre-paints if the trend continues ![]() Arabin |

There's an Ebay shop selling the Foundry 2000ad stuff at £4.99 a piece which is a more realistic price, just need the funds to get some. |

There is...Or was because I don't know if have just ended...a sale (or better a 20% disccount) in all the Foundry minis...not that that make them a lot chaper but I belive that it's also free shipping (I bought the paint guide that was spoken her in another post with the 20% and as everything that goes with the book will be also post free and at 20% search for a miniature...but at least decided not to spend more money that month...If my wife see the VISA I'm a dead men...for sure) |

Wish I'd known that, but even with the 20% off the Ebay guy is still cheaper. |
