I would have to say otherwise - Total crap. There was a clear lack of story but mores the point the action was nothing in comparison to Aliens. Yes the movie is about Predators and Aliens and human are just collateral damage but the stuff people are all hype about is the fact that the death of the humans really doesn't discriminate people Jocks, geeks, potheads, woman, children and new born all get chomped. The horror is more the sick kind like seeing fresh born babies in their hospital cribs and an Alien above the glass almost lick it in anticipation. Yep the babes get chomped - yes horror but more the slick kind for focusing a good shot on it. It is this style of movie that is getting the audience "so excited" because no punches are being pulled. In my view they are just smacking away at minced meat, messy and pointless

As for the action... Starship troopers had better action and I regard that as a "B" grade.

The horror of Aliens is something of yesteryear, todays version is just a cheap mook. As for the Predator - the creature was once a techno wonder that was cool and collected - this version is nothing more than tank, a he-man with as much graceful skill as watching Mr-T in the A-team (back when). There is no suspense built, no real harrowing.

End of the day I found the movie a waste of time and my money. My view would be wait for the DVD to be ripped and then posted as a torrent.


A parting line from a little girl "Have the monster gone?" and I wanted to answer "No the US army was still there" (No this is not an attack at the US Army but at the portrayal of them in the movie).
