Here's a small portion of what I listen to - from a playlist of 5-star rated tracks, and only groups that I have more than a couple songs in it. Avita Treason Bauhaus Beastie Boys Beck Bjork Black Sabbath Blue Man Group Blues Brothers Bob Marley Cradle of Filth The Cure Darkthrone Devo DJ Abstract English Beat Enslaved Eurythmics Faith & the Muse Faith No MOre Fischerspooner Four Postmen Geinoh Yamashirogumi (Akira Soundtrack) George Thorogood & the Destroyers Howard Shore (LotR Soundtrack) Iron Maiden JET Joe Satriani John Williams (Star Wars Soundtrack) Marilyn Manson Megadeth Metallica Ministry Modest Mouse Morbid Angel Motzart Muse Nirvana The Orb Orbital Pantera Pink Floyd The Police Powerpuff Girls (don't judge me) A Prelude to Tragedy The Presidents of the United States of America Primus The Ramones Rareform Red Hot Chili Peppers Ren & Stimpy Sepultura Skinny Puppy Smashing Pumpkins Space Ghost Squarepusher The Streets Strong Bad (Homestar Runner) They Might Be Giants This Ascension TRS 80 Underworld Viard The White Stripes As you can see, there's a ton, and that's not including the 4-star tracks or artists with only one or two 5-star tracks. A pretty ecclectic mix, all in all. ![]() |

Given the opportunity (ie, previously-mentioned kid issues), I most typically build with a movie/DVD playing in the background...preferably one I've seen before so many times that I can "see" it without looking up and hurting my build efficiency. |

I tend to prefer to build in silence. I spend too much time in noisy environments to want more noise when I am on my own. If I do feel like listening to something, I tend to listen to the radio. My favourite is the repeats of comedy programmes on BBC Radio 7 including: The Museum of Everything Dead Ringers The Goon Show Giles Wemmbley-Hogg I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue I only really listen to music when driving or working out. I make my own music and listen to it. If you like Electronic stuff, then give this a listen and let me know what you think. I'm not sure how long these links will last. This is my version of a popular club tune. (Yeah, that's me on vocals.) Sleeper In Metroplis (6MB): (This is not me on vocals.) Fear Driven (3MB): The Great Crusade (6MB): Altered States (9.5 MB): |
