I recall many years ago a friend of mine playing a game by this name using...Wait for it...SNAIL MAIL! Anyone have any recolections? Or if anyone has a similar turn based game that could be played via the forums? |

I remember Star Web. I was big into PBM in those days, but never got into that one. I did play Saturnalia, Aes, Revenge of the Many-Legged Man-Eating Tigerhounds from Outer Space and a ton of others. It was great fun. If you are looking for a space-conquest themed game to play by email, you might try looking at Cyberboard (). It is a free games utility and there are a whole bunch of gameboxes for various games that might suit. That said, with a little thought, just about any board game can be adapted to PBEM play. All you have to do is work out how the turn sequence can be broken up to suit the nature of the orders process. For other games check out Flagship magazine () which specifically covers PBM and PBEM. Hope this helps, Ruarigh |
