The craftrobo cuts and scores in the same operation. I would pay more for the vector files, as much as the pdf cost, had I a craftrobo. But I don't. And Since I don't have the cash to get a laser printer either I don't think I'll be getting one soon. Not to mention that it seems very hard to find one being sold in the US. The only price I could find for it was an ebay sale for $300. But thats no gage at all of the retail price. |

There's a few I found by adding the word "msrp" to the Google Search: http://www.google.com/search?source=ig& ... gle+Search Quite a variety of prices and packages, but the first two listed are $339, or $399 with a bundle of other stuff. |

I personally like the entire process of making the models. It can be time consuming but when it is done I have something that I made. I might not have done the design work but that piece is something I built completely with my own hands. The RoboCutter is a great idea. But as with anything, the more complicated the machine gets the more parts there are to break. I can't wait to see how this works but for myself I'll stick to the craft knife and ruler method. |
