I know things have been bad for Michigan for years now. It is very sad. I saw a documentary about Flint Michigan quite awhile back ... those aren't the sales I like to go to. |

And I am stuck posted to the Northern Rockies where if people do finally break down and have a yard/garage/driveway/rummage/etc. sale, 85% of the stuff is junk, but they want near new prices for any and all of it. SUCKS!! |

I still have some of my old Crossbows and Catapults stuff, speaking of which. Man, I have nearly every Axis and Allies product out there, including the old, the revision and the new version (lol), as well as Pacific, Europe, D-Day, etc. I'm a big fan of WWII games, if you couldn't tell. |

I have found, that by and large the hey day of treasure mining at Garage Sales is over. After the huge boom in the "Holy crap I have a gold mine in the attic!" most people want to hold onto their stuff, or want high prices for it, but every once in a while you get lucky. I have also found that going to cons and shopping the "Used game" vendors is a huge win-fall. As for me...I bought my Copy of Conquest of the Empire, FA, and A&A when they were first relased. Never could get my Dad to buy me Shogun though. |

In the UK they are known at Bootfairs, and instead of opening up your garage, a bunch of people drive to a field, open up the rear of the car, and sell right from there. I used to have a lot of fun attending those, and often find good bits and pieces. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck at garage sales in the US. GenCon Indy has a nice auction area where you can pick up lots of good bits cheap. Arabin |

CotE is the only GameMaster series game I don't have. Anyway, the nearby game store - Dragon's Lair in Ralston, NE - has a section of used RPG games that rules the roost. I bought the Conan the RPG by Mongoose for $3.50. It's normally a $24.99 hardcover game. |

Has to be the first edition, since it doesn't say what version it is on the cover. |
