I missed this the first time around. Need to look into the new version. Weren't Grafter, Racel and a bunch of the guys involved with this before, and then use as a reference for DA? |

Vor and Dark Age were both built off the Chronopia engine. We ALL were into Vor LOL! |

Skuzzy has not said anything useful though folks. Shoot, he has been wanting Vor to return for years from what he has said at cons. So, is IWM paying for the show since the news releases seem to be released on their forums? Who is this Balrog character on the IWM forums? Why does he think he needs to keep his "company" in the shadows? Does he actually work for IWM? BTW, I play Union and my eldest son plays Growlers. And, "No!", the Vor figs have never been recycled for another game unlike that money pit called Crucible. Before FASA closed its doors, Vor seized 17% of the metal figure blister market from GW and that was without three of the races in actual production. Looking forward to the bloodied nose, bullet wounds, broken cheek, plasma burns and shattered limbs Vor will give GW if it really is re-released. |

Ok, so last Saturday my buddy BJ and I threw down for the first time in about a year and a half. We played 500 points each, on a 4'x4' board with LOTS of terrain and that Asia terrain Effect that kills you if you are too close to the vegetation. The Neo-Soviets won in three turns, but it was a hollow victory, because we made the following rules errors: 1) the Tempest Mortar can only fire every other turn, not every turn. This means that i would not have killed the second Firegut Bull in turn two, but in turn three instead. I don't think this would have changed the game resolution, however. 2) Models get Armor Rolls after be hit by a Chemsprayer. I took out his Chieftain in turn three with my first Chengrunt attack, and it probably would have had to be a second or third shot if he had been making armor rolls. I still think I would have had this game locked up by turn four if we had not made these rules errors. Tempest mortars rock! My list was as follows: 1 Officer 1 Officer 5 rad Troopers 5 Rad Troopers 3 Chemgrunts 3 Chemgrunts 1 Cyclops 1 Typhoon Crawler with Tempest Mortar His list was sonething like this: Firegut Chieftain Firegut Bull Firegut Bull 5 Firegut Onehorns The Chieftain and Bulls had some abilities, but the only one I saw used was Mighty Leap. His Onehorns wholly failed to injure any Rad Troopers, which was very amusing. He called the game after I had nuked both Bulls and melted his Chieftain, but of course we were playing wrong and we would probably have had to play for another turn before we got the same results. He disagrees. |
