I have been dying to discuss EPISODE TEN, "Revelations". The wife has not seen any of season 4 and this pissant small town is a wasteland for culture. Internets to the rescue!!! Some of you lot have seen it I hope..... If you have not seen it STOP READING NOW. ----------------------------------------------------------- HOLY KRAPP!!!!! What an episode, what a show. Considering the HUGE plot holes of the previous episode, this was refreshing. [ Tighlon knocks up cylon, gets promoted. Starbuck goes nuts and she's CAG. Huh?] Tory's play to get on the Cylon ship, smoothly handled. "I'm not taking orders from you anymore." OoooOOOoooohhh. A VERY cool customer, she has had the biggest changes since she "heard the music". And she's smokin' hot!! Tighlon telling Adama. Bill in denial. Bill violent. Bill bloody. What a scene. "Set course for Earth" Me: Noooo..it CAN'T be this easy...Nooooo. THE FINAL SHOT. Well NOW what???? I don't have any theories. None. But this is what it reminded me of: |

Overall, I've found the 4th season to be a little on the soap opera side, but I agree Revelations was a great episode. Now if only they would get the rest of the season up. I don't want to wait until the fall or next year to finish the darn thing. |

At least it rules out super kids trying to integrate into 1980's culture. "Like, don't have a cow man!" The real question for the cylons and humans, is whether they can choose to get along from now on. And yes, all the back story and mythology went up in smoke when they landed on the charred remains of Earth. Perhaps, the humans left because of the war? Maybe they were expected to take a lot longer to get back? Are there anymore episodes this season? Oh... and what passed for the charred remains of earth was really the beaches of West Coast Canada. They really are that inhospitible except for 2-4 months of the year. |

Yeah, it's a 6 month wait until the final half of the season. It was funny to see the humans and renegade cylons working together. I expect the relationship to fly apart. |

heheheheh, i like your selection for the picture, as they started to pan right you just knew something like that was comming. Running through my head the whole time was are the actually going to do it and show part of the fraking statue of liberty or not... I like that they didn't, and to me at least it is not instantly recognizable as any city( i the bridge does bring to my mind NYC and the Brooklyn Bridge, but there may be a bias there as to it's location in respect to me), but it certainly looks like it could be any number of cities of the here and now or near future of earth. My guess is we destroyed ourselves and the search for earth is truely the search that has been going on all along in the show, the search for answers to lifes great questions... |

Nertz, I forgot about the song. Well, I guess it's all done, though. The wrap party was on the weekend. Too bad I live so close and never got to see the sets! I guess they will store them, hope they don't get chainsawed although most do. I remember seeing pics of the huge V'ger model getting dumpstered. Some guy had Moon Base Alpha in his basement after rescuing it. |
