I just came back from watching . Local Cinema shows it at 11:45 so I took my three year old daughter to it. It's ok. Definitely made for the early teen crowd and definitely made for a western audience. However I frequently read to my girls for a bed time story and it was great to see my three year old jump up and down in the Cinema clapping her hands and shouting, "Monkey King! Monkey King!" The movie kept a lot of Monkeys style and behaviour, not to mention magic abilities so just for that I was happy with it. My other Forums I use the name Monkey King or Brother Sun WuKong with a picture of Monkey as an avatar. |
