Since I'm unemployed (AGAIN) I am sitting at home and noticed that Nintendo's E3 conference was starting. So I sat here and watched the whole thing. I want my hour back. Their was NOTHING good in it. They talked about making the new casual gamers and the hardcore happy. The only "hardcore" games were GTA for the DS and a new Call of Duty game for the Wii. Thats it. Their BIG announcement was Wii Music. Which requires no timing. And is not scored in any way. You just hit buttons and music comes out. Sad day for Nintendo. <edited for one final comment> EPIC FAIL |

The complete Samurai Showdown collection is supposed to be out for Christmas 2009. I can wait until then! ![]() Call of Duty 4, or another WWII rehash? |

Call of Duty: World at War. So a port of the same game on 360/PS3. It will use the Wii Zapper so will probably have a shooting gallery mode added on. Oh, and 2 player mode where one person has the rifle, the other has a flamethrower. Its not a "true" sequel, even, since Infinity Ward is working on something else. Oh, and yes its WWII again. Pacific Theatre this time. |

I agree. I was disappointed by their press conference this year. I was waiting for a zelda or metroid announcement... of course it never came. Lets see how the other giants do. Sacretis |

Microsoft already got their big announcement of Final Fantasy XIII. But that IS a pretty big announcement. Waiting with baited breath for Sony. Don't own a PS3 and with FF multi platform not sure I need one...unless the new Twisted Metal and God of War are REALLY good. |

They must be doing something right, because I sure as heck can't find a Fit. I wish they had "more serious" games, but the thing is so darn fun! |

The Fit Balance Board has a lot of possibility. That snowboarding game they announced using it could be a lot of fun. We shall see. |

I've been watching some of the E3 coverage too. And I surprised how poorly presented a lot of the presentations are. I would have thought that for such an important televised presentation they would have had professional speakers. |

Just sat through Sony's. Not much better. Resistance 2 looks good, but its still another FPS. God of War 3 was pre-rendered and not out till next year. NOTHING about the new Twisted Metal. They had a pre-rendered video of MAG (basically take SOCOM and make it like Battlefield 2...yeah, that squad command worked SO WELL). Well, Sony just gets a regular FAIL this year. Not epic. |

I'm surprised about GTA for the DS. But it will look like GTA 3!! What's the big deal about Final Fantasy for the 360? Those games have always put me off, they have a HUGE fan base for some reason. The game I really want to see [battle of britain: storm of war] is a no-show, 1C didnt even go this year. |

Everyone was certain that Square was only going to support Sony from now on...like they used to do with Nintendo. But, with the American and Japanese markets on polar ends of the console war, they had to hedge their bets to make their (inflating budgeted) games profitable. |

Now I remember, they are only Sony, right? |

Used to be. But with the PS3 floundering in the US, they are going cross platform with some titles (I'm sure the rest will follow) to maintain profitability. |

Don't forget the . 1:1 motion tracking sounds pretty interesting. |

It does, but at the same time, its a going to be an at least $15 attachment. I just don't see anyone but Nintendo supporting it...and they used it to make another Wii Sports. Fun for the short term, but not something that has a lot of replay. |
