Yep, that I am. Unfortunately, the one person who signed up online didn't show and only one of my normal 2 players showed...so was a waste of an afternoon. Blue Highway is even thinking about discontinuing carrying the game as it has not been doing very well for them. |

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. It's such a fun game to play at any age. Its is booming where I am at. In the whole state of Mississippi there are only 3 approved judges. Two of them are in south Mississippi. I am located in central Mississippi where apparently tons of Heroclixers have been waiting for a Judge. This past friday we had 9 pariticipants and the friday before that there were 12 I think. It is growing so fast here, that I have had to teach at least one person how to play each week. I understand your perdicament though. Before I became a judge, I was traveling 2 hours one way each saturday to go to the tournaments in south Mississippi. Typically 2 out of 3 times that me and my wife went, we were the only ones there, hence my motivation to become a judge. My advice is to not give up. If the venue decides to no longer carry the product, offer players to use figs from your own collection, and if they want to add to their own collection, have a few websites handy to where they can order online. I had to let people use my figures to play the first few weeks I started, to convince them of how enjoyable the game is. Now my vendor can't keep Heroclix in stock. They just fly off the shelves. Hang on to those Batman figs and give them away as new guy night prizes. I hope things pic up for you, Heroclix is very fun with lots of company. -gilbert |
