I don't know... I liked the first Tron well enough and some of its aesthetic has really held up to this day, but - cynical as I am - I can't imagine this turning out to be anythng other than bad. I'd love to be proven wrong, but as yet I'm about as excited about this as the new X-Files movie (i.e. not in the least). |

What I can see of it, it looks great. Ain't it Cool News has some more buzz about the movie, but I'm not sure how much is rumor and how much is real. It'll be great to see more information come out between now and 2011, the current release year. I can't remember the last time I heard an audience response other than laughter. I don't think I've ever heard cheers in a movie theater, let alone for a trailer. |

That hurt my head to much to try and watch. Will wait till a better copy appears. I DID find a half decent recording of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and that...woah. Looks like a great action movie. LOTS of cheers during that one. Of course this WAS during ComicCon so the audience was biased. LOL |

Wolverine: Origins appears to be the continuation of the 'wow, when did comic book movies improve so much' trend we're presently experiencing. I can only hope the trend continues, but I'm not holding my breath. |

Thinking about those halcyon days of my long-ago teens made me do some Google research on the event I went to. Turns out that it was one of "a series of benefit premieres" - no indication of whether there two or fifty of them. So I don't quite know which showing it was after the DC premiere and London Royal Premiere, but it was still early. I kind of remembered getting a t-shirt with it (one that is now long gone, of course - it'd be a hell of a collectible to sell if I still had it) With the help of my Google Queen wife, I found a pic of the t-shirt: |

That shirt is cool. Reminds me of a Star Wars promo shirt some guy in my class was wearing in 1978. I tried to beg it off him, no go. Somewhere I have a presskit for TESB, with a bunch of 8X10's and handouts. |

When I saw Empire, it was the week after opening. I was in transition from Germany to the US, so I was too tired from jet lag to see it. However, when I did, there were a few people who also made the experience enjoyable. Watching everybody lean during the asteroid sequences was classic. |
