I've had something stuck in my head before... it was a dart... and it was thrown by my elder brother  Funny thing was, I didn't feel it at all, and wondered why everyone was staring at me... then when I noticed it, I kinda freaked, more from the thought of it, than from pain. Eventually if was removed, so don't worry, everything that sticks in your head will be removed in time, heh.
Anyway, nothing wrong with making up word, based on combinations of existing words. I've been doing it for years and there are a number of words my family uses that aren't in the dictionary. The way I see it, if two people use a word, and both understand the same meaning, it becomes valid as language. Arabin |

I've had Cypress Hill's "Insane in the membrane" stuck since 1992, until it was forcibly evicted by an ICP "song" late last year. |

One of the sports shows I listen to in the morning, had this running gag where they kept playing Michael Bolton's "How am I Supposed to Live Without You". (For those of you lucky enough not to know it, it's possibly one of the most sappy songs ever made. I know very few guys who can stand it.) The stupid song got stuck in my head and for three weeks I couldn't get it out. Music didn't work, talking didn't work... For some reason every time I sat down the song would play in my head like background music. My wife took great joy in laughing at me for it too... (she likes the song so she would sing it just to razz me.) |
