Im continue thinking than they should do like WH. Not random system. Give me armies pack or individual figures to my rpg....support the people who support the game a lot of years.Im really hate the random system.

There will be a huge set, and it will be the visible in the pack, smalls will be included in sets, but no word of tiny.

Many Feywild minis will come out just in some of the other lines.

Visible figure will be large, and "rare quality" so 2 "rare", 1 uncommon and 2 common.

At least they had the balls to announce before their next skirmish set was releashed. I am unhappy with their decision, but full props for full disclosure.

But at least it looks like they will restat everything that has come out already, and that means we can at least continue to play with what we already have.

Well...since my local players had an inside line (one of their friends worked with the company), that would explain why they didn't bother to show for the last game. Disappointed to say the least. Will check out Dungeon Delve but doubt I will buy it.

So where is the Better Sculpting and Better Paint jobs.
I guess it' now just better Paint jobs. One of the notes was that the higher cost was due to "better quality", better sculpts and better paint jobs. Well they do have more paint/deco ops, and they are better, kind of. They are better becuase well there are a bunch of Repaints for older minis. Minis that had decent sculpts before the move to 4th and the sculpt and details went into the toilet. None of the minis repainted were rare, just UC, which had, ok sculpts, So compaired to the awefull sculpts of 4th/version 2 of the game, these reapints Are ,good sculpts, but they are just the quality they used to be and not the garbe they were putting out in the last few sets. So when you have junk, anything is a step up, they just back tracked to the quality they had before, which was better then the last three ses, so it goes up, by repainting things that are better than the latests.. Paint is "better" ie they have more applications of different colors... so that does kind of hold up.

But Bleh, i just don't care to rebuy a miniature in a yellow paint job, i mean couldn't they have gone WAY further back to reprint stuff that has long been out of production?

Not really thrilled about any of the new ones 4 or 5 of these are Repaints, i just really hate the look of 4th for the new ones, and the others are, wait Reprints of stuff i already have, so uhm wow will be passing on these.

Well, from these picks, the paint quality is as lacking as the last random sets. Very disapppointing.

I went looking over at the WotC forums to see what the mood was, there was a thread with a complaint about reprints, it seems that only the first set will have the 4 reprints, as they were lacking the needed 36 Minis for the Heroes sets, with what they had comming in the newert waves.
While i find that understandable, I'd just don't put all 4 in the first set, makes it look bad, and not eveyone wil lgo looking to find the story.

Sheesh that makes it so you are shooting yourself in the foot right off the bat with a new line. 22% of the first batch are redos it had me pass on this set right off, splitting it to 2 in the first and 2 in the second wave, while it might send the wrong message down the line that "every" set would have reprints, right now it's looking like a decent chunk of the set it reprints, and doesn't Wow you from the start, on the boards i looked it, it's looking like the decent percentage of repaints has people disapointed, 2 honestly would have me less disapopinted, and two later, then no more...

I know it may come down, to they have to do the 4 reprints now and couldn't split it up as the figures just didn't exsist, and won't for production reasons till later, it still just looks lame.

The thing that gets me, is that so far in the random sets there have only been like 4 dragonborn...and many of those were rares. This means that everyone has very little amounts of Dragonborn minis (I have like 2 or something due to not owning much of the more recent sets). Now, the non-random stuff only gives us maybe one Dragonborn...

I don't need most of the others due to having miniatures to represent them from past sets. Maybe the monsters will be more tantalizing.
