So, looks like Adamant has decided to stop trying to reinvent the wheel, and is releasing Imperial Age under the True 20 license. I can understand the decision, between skyrocketing publishing costs and an ever increasing volume it does make more sense to release it under True 20, allowing the bulk of the book to be dedicated to campaign specific material. It has the side effect of making it easier to convert to Spycraft, so I might be able to steal, urr, use more of the material. While True 20 is not my system of choice it is a very solid system. It does make me wonder if Thrilling Tales will be taking the same route. The Auld Grump |

As it to be expected, though. They really struggled trying to make IA an independent system, and by going true D20, they can really focus on the entire package in a simple format. |
