Hmmm, a new company has started sales - Not quite as inexpensive as Wargames Factory, but much less so than Games Workshop. Figures seem to run an average of $1 to $1.50 each. Unlike Wargames Factory they use three ups - triple sized models, as the originals from which they then create their molds - the way Games Workshop used to create their molds. Their initial releases are for an elven army, and their elves are quite different from those that I have seen from other companies. Almost skeletally thin, they do not look like nice people, perhaps closer to the sidhe than to Tolkien. They look interesting, at the very least. I may pick up a set or two, down the road a bit. The Auld Grump *EDIT* The scale is closer to true 25mm - the scale of the Lord of the Rings elves, not the beefier Warhammer elves. *EDIT 2* I am thinking that these might make very decent goblin types, not as small as usually seen, and fairly martial. Or perhaps hobgoblins. ![]() |

They did a free mini give-a-way for a while. All you had to do was email in your address and they sent you 2 to 4 free elves. They even shipped to me in Spain. It's nice to see other companies do mini's. I wish them the best of luck! |

I've been watching these. I do like their dark fantasy style. Wish I could see some pics of them alongside some other companies minis. Hope they expand into other races quickly! |

Yeah I saw these a while back when they were doing the give away (think I saw it on TMP) not sure I like them or not, the figs don't look bad, and if they had different helmet and shieldless options i would buy some. |

I got a couple of the free minis and quite liked them. The figures I received were scouts and I was a little disappointed to see the scouts wearing so much armour. I hope they produce some less well armoured types as well. I shall certainly buy more of them anyway for our WHAA games. |

Yeah, I was looking at these the other day. I just printed OneMonk's elves out for an elf army though, so it's really tough to justify the expense and time requirement of another elven army, although a clearly dark one. Their pricing is fantastic on the warband set! |

Yeah, those are not friendly, happy elves. The pricing on the Warhost is good... if you get it at a discount shop online the price is below a buck a figure. ![]() I wish that I had seen the free figs advert before it went away, I would not mind having a few of them. The Auld Grump, yuck... morning.... |

I like them, they remind me of the old WHFB Jes Goodwin sea guard elves, nice and skinny! ![]() Actually, I'm more excited about the undead that is slated next. ![]() |

Yeah, I can see that - and both the zombies pulling the cart and the Mantic ghouls suffer from necromantic abuse - nails driven into their flesh, amputations for the zombies.... Those guys really need a union! The Auld Grump |

Heh! I thought I recognized the facial expressions on the skellies - they were created by Bob Naismith! (Bob Naismith did the skeletons for Grenadier, way back when - his undead have a great deal of animation, and have since the 1980s. ![]() Nice to see that he is still in the business. Okay, that's sad - one of the online retailers is celebrating the new edition of Warhammer with a sale, pre-order Warhammer, and get an 8% discount on Mantic miniatures.... Someone is making a statement, I think. (Even more grumbling than usual over GW's most recent price increase.) The Auld Grump |

They are some seriously nice minis. Seriously thinking I will pick up some of their Ghouls to be Zombies when I start playing WHFB again. May have to do it sooner just cause they rock. |
