WWG guys, if this is not cool I understand completely. All this talk of Vikings and Dwarven halls I have been reading spurred me to the point!! Bjorti Trollsbane Dvergr Warrior Hostrom Hammersmite Dvergr Hero Bolverk the Bold, Njornan hero Ulfgar of Auldheim, Njornan Warrior Captain Woldvagner the Wise, Njornan War Wizard Einar of Aelfheim, the Shadow'sbane, Aelfar MarchWarden Captain Myrianna of Aelfheim, Aelfar Noblewoman I know Hostrom's helm is a bit of a " neck breaker " but it looks really cool for a Dwarf!! ![]() |

Personally I would love to see WWG green light a deal with Red Box games. Use them in the promo shots etc. This would promote the range of Tres plus give WWG a line of sculpts that no one else is using for their promo shots. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Really excellent work. A pity I don't paint, and so don't use metals. |

There are a LOT of painting services that offer VERY affordable rates fro better quality work than you will get on a pre-paint. Just food for thought. ![]() |

Thanks for the info! Hey speaking of Painting services, does anyone have any that they could recommend that do spot on work for a reasonable fee? |

These are two of five new Dvergr Hillfolk due out in then next couple of weeks. I just have to finish the Skald and they are off!Just figured I would pop them up here. ![]() Ymir the White, Lord of Stone Gate; Old and grizzled but still as hard and unshakable as the two great stones for which his village is named. Clemundr Longseer of StoneGate; Second only to Ymir himself Clemundr's skill with the Crossbow is reknowned throughout the Mellerstaverklig. Swift and sure when his sights fall upon a target so too shall his quarrels. Ripe for jaunt into Ye Auld Lost Halls eh? |

Hmmm, I could have sworn that I had already commented in this thread.... That is quite possibly the best fur that I have ever seen on miniatures, and the draping of the cloaks, robes, and dresses is very realistic. Plus, you know, dwarfs. ![]() All in all, some very nice stuff, while my favorite dwarfs are still those by Bob Olley*, I would love to see your figures running through the Dwarfen Halls. The Auld Grump * Bob Olley's dwarfs and ogres are why I decided to make the two races related in my homebrew setting - dwarfs are giants, just very short giants. ![]() *EDIT* Am I correct in assuming that the way you make that fantastic fur is to place a small blob of putty, texture it into a tuft, place another blob in the row, and keep repeating the process? It would seem like a lot of work, but the results are so very much worth it. |
